Thanks for that I think I'll go down the path of moving the standard shifter rearward and just extend the linkage underneath. Tomotek you build looks absolutely great. Its like going down a rabbit hole reading through your build thread. Ta Dave

Hi has anyone cut the transmission tunnel and moved the gearshift rearward and extended the gearshift rod under the car to suit? I want to put the shifter in reach when harnessed in and put a vertical hydraulic handbrake in front and next to the wheel. Ta Dave

I run std 172 wheels with Khumo 185/60 x 15 soft compound on a 182 in Australia.our rallies are pretty harsh lots of rock and not too smooth so tyres get pretty chipped up. I should use medium compound on fronts in some events but sucks carrying too many tyres to events

That looks great. I've welded my mounts to suit centre of wheel and will look into sorting the pedals out afterwards.

Heres how offset the rails will be to centre the seat to the wheel. The blue bars arn't welded and only roughly in position. My right leg when straight is between throttle and brake and my left sits naturally between clutch and rest. So feels comfortable but its a long way over to left foot...

Where have you guys set your race seat in relation to the steering wheel is it offset like standard or do you centre it. It feels better in terms of gearshift and wheel also right foot braking but left foot braking seems weird. I haven't welded mounts yet just looking for feedback before I go...

Thanks Paul was looking for gravel tyre sizes I think ill need 185 for rallysprinting but was concerned that I'd need more width.
