I do know the dealer I'm part-exing mine at can't wait.
They've not had the sports side of renault in before and are looking forward to having mine to sell on.
I know it's a stupid price to pay in this climate, but making the most of the money while I can :)
And I love the 197 already, even having only had it a month.
Brings back memories of my old 5 giordano, but without the lean :)
The Recaros in mine are very nice, hug all the right spots :)
As for motorways, 90 is around 5000ish revs, so not too noisy and plenty of pull left if needed.
Mine is a 56 plate, so can't help on the other question.
o/h's mini comes in at 17k. new car prices are a bit of a rip off at the moment, but i'm lucky at the moment as my business vs the current climate is doing okay.
I know it's a lot to pay, but for me it's worth it. For the first time in my life i'm getting a car spec'd how I want it and I know...
The guys in the dealership can't wait.
They've only just started doing the sports models (Southampton used to do them, but closed)
Think there is a waiting list for them to take it for a spin when I go to pick it up.
They only started taking orders today afaik.
And the dealer said it would be a 6-8 week delivery turn-around as they are made to order.
Could have had it in August, but thought best to wait another 4 weeks for the 59 plate.
They will be holding the valuation on my trade in, and got a very small...
Much as I liked the yellow/green ones I've got with Nimbus, looks nice on my current 197.
Added a couple of options packs so the wheels, bumpers, diffuser and mirrors will be anthracite.
Took the o/h to Snows to order her new mini today and then popped into Renault to check on the spec list for the new 200s.
One is now on order for beginning of Sept :)
