chopping it in is a good way to go, but the place I am buying from is not really into part-ex.
I usually want to get on with things and will price it keenly to move on. I don't think residuals on cars are ever very good, so I am mentally prepped for it. I can't see it going for much more...
I am looking to sell my 182cup (1yr, 12k miles). I have got the range of prices they are advertised for from the fs section, but I was wondering how many people have sold theirs and what they actually got for them.
Thanks
Graham
Does anyone have the above? I am frustrated by the fact that my 182 cup doesn't seem to get going till about 5k rpm, so I have been thinking about what might be done to make it pull better at lower revs (ie extend the power range downwards).
I thought that having a look at a dyno plot would...
This is a bit of a silly question...the intermittant wipe on my new 182 cup doesnt seem to have a speed adjust and it is almost like it is on normal wipe with a very small time gap between wipes (IYSWIM).
Anyone know if that is the same on all the 182 Cups?
Graham
What do people run their 182s on? The fuel filler cap says 98ron which I guess equates to optimax or SUL. Is that what people use? Cant imagine why a 180bhp 2l shoudl need SUL.

so it seems you have two choices on running in. You either follow the manual or you do what the fiddle you please. I have never read such a load of uninformed tosh in my life. Not one of the conributers here has any evidence or even engineering logic behind what they say.
You just need to...
No comment on the whys and wherefores of what happened here. But surely the reaction to this kind of situation is the emergency stop? Off gas, on brake, on clutch. Both hands on the wheel. Surely that would do the trick?

People, dont lie, they just talk bo((ocks, as they know no better. Just look at you lot. Good job we all come here for peoples unadulterated, uninformed, enjoyable sh*te :-))
all car forums including this one are the same in this respect. If people really think that they can judge the performance of their cars by what happens on the road, then they are sadly misguided.
I have driven a load of fast kit in my time. Latest being an Evo MR340 which is outrageously...
I think you are wrong Mike. The law obliges you to disclose anything that could be relevant to the insurance risk. Suspension changes and spoiler changes are changes from the standard 182 spec and are certainly performance related. It would be hard to argue (for example) thay they dont affect...
