What sized self tappers did you use. My front bumpers been hit heavily on the underneath and its pretty scratched up. Looks like the previous owner has used studs rather than screws so I might need to make some new holes for the splitter and the plastic protection underneath. Any advice on this...

Probably no harm in removing it then. I suppose I could always take the dimensions and fabricate a replacement. I think the one in there is too far gone to repair or keep.

Yep I still have all the original speakers, no sign of tampering really though I did find some wire shielding and cut off tag ends in the boot under the spare wheel! Great! Many thanks mforan this will save a lot of hassle. For the cost of these I will probably buy both and just return the ones I didnt use. For the amount of bulbs I have replaced so far these are the last to be done. Cant wait to have the electrics all up to scratch again!
