oh right it wasnt my mechanic not fitting the screws right then! hes going to try seam welding the circlip in now instead......or is a gearbox rebuild a better option with agency who fix the circlip problem dont they? obviously going to be expensive tho....
ive had a renfort circlip plate fitted for over 1000 miles now and ive somehow managed to snap all 8 of the screws securing it and am back to square 1.........could they have worked loose thats why they have snapped or has anyone else had this problem? and no i wasnt hammering it it was coming...
Was driving slowly in traffic then suddenly a crunching noise as if i missed a gear, coming to a stop at a red light i then tried pulling away and theres a horrible crunching/grinding noise when disengaging clutch and trying to accelerate. i had to push car round a corner on my own in rush hour...
Il probably be using my engine in a different clio so can i and what would i need from the car to sell my 172 cup ecu as ive just put an rs tuner map on it less than a month ago? i think it would only work in other 172 cups yes?
Ye it's says et 37 on rear of wheel and also they are 7j wide. Maybe it is just the style of the alloy then and the thinner spokes making the car look narrower as I'm used to the flat faced 182 alloys that were fitted! What are the common spacers people fit with turinis ?
Ive just fitted oz superleggera wheels to my 172 cup and they look like they sit in the arch a lot more than the 182 alloys i did have on it when i bought it........due to the different offset i think, what thickness spacers are the best choice for filling the arches a bit more but without any...
