Hey all, now i know how old these are getting, but i do have one lying around , is there anyone around that actually maps these anymore down south ?

if its a 182 engine that doesen't run with a 182 ecu then there is def something weird going on, when you say it wont accept the 182 ecu, what do you mean ? it just wont start with it, does it turn over with the 182 ecu ? what happens, more info pls

hazards need to work with the ignition off i think mate..... not 100 percent sure , but for safety at the road side i think thats the case

ahh ok then , yeh that makes sense, any ideas on the one in the top pic ?

forgot to say that the second and third pics are what i think each end of the same cable . anyone striped an interior our and know what these are ? my clock display works so dont think it can be for that....

the one at the top with the yellow on it has nothing plugged into it :confused: this one above that was under the passenger seat and finally the two at the bottom of this pic the yellow and blue one that look like they slot together but not sure

yeh thats true it was worse going up a hill , ill take a look again !

where are the engine mounts ? obviously one on the top left as you look at the engine, i tightened these up as they werent tight when i checked, the dogbone joint is tight aswell, is there one to the right of the engine bay ? is access to it under the car or above ? cheers

its a loud rattling noise, almost like the engine is rocking and shaking up and down, loose sounding , not sure how to explain with ill try to get a video

Anywhere in the south that can RR and set this up at all on a 172

hi again chaparoones , not had the car long but having trouble taking off in 1st gear without the car shaking, not kangarooing, I mean that something shakes/rattles as I pull away, if I lift the clutch very slowly it wont do it, or if im moving along and pull away its fine, all the other gears...

Thanks for all comments chaps got a few things to try now , but how on earth do I remove a wiper motor ? Has the whole bottle got to come out looks like a big job with the wipers in the way

hi there im back to owning a 172 , picked it up yesterday , but it was used on the track and some electricals are not working. 1. Speedo goes on and comes off all the way home, it recorded 170 miles from a 260 mile journey strange any ideas ? 2.ABS light on and horn not working, have removed...

just an idea to check the rear shocks for leaks while your there....
