Thanks.... Again! ;)
When you say big fixing... I'm just looking at the 2 black bolts in the diagram either side of the pulley?
It's been a long day...
Finally getting round to doing this myself this week.
I have the workshop manual -
Its my first time doing any sort of belt so I just want to confirm - first turn alternator to slacken belt, loosen BOTH alternator mounting bolts (or just the one underneath nut 1?), then turn nut 1 as...
Fatty induction fitted today as well as pulling out the acoustic valve. Still awaiting delivery for another alloy joiner to go between the original bend and the new silicon one. Currently using a slightly larger (76mm) piece of silicon.
Can't really tell much of a difference performance wise...
So my 70mm hose and 70mm filter are matching each other up and theres no chance one is going inside the other to clamp up...
Am i being stupid or is the hose supposed to be a bit bigger than 70mm?
Nah mate, I'm over in Emersons Green and it's just a track car so don't really use it much unless I take it out for a blast. Normally out towards Combe or the Black Mountains though.
Yeh Clubsports. I've gone through so many different seats over the years and my favourite were always Cobra...
Boring stuff today...Oil and filter done.
OEM plugs and aux belt to go on.
Also ordered these -
Still on the list to order/do -
Rollcage - SD?
MAPS Stud Kit

Cut out ktec stealth centre box = supersports
Make brake deflector plates
Remove noisy Carbon Cannister
No there was hardly any sound proofing being a cup. I was nicely surprised compared to the FFs. A bit of tar on the roof and inside the rear quarters which you can see in the photos.
Not made much progress on this lately other than giving it a full service and new windscreen wash pump...
Now weighing up Roll cage options and probably going for a Safety Devices Rear Cage for now. Anyone have any better ideas?
Haha never used to do any of the work myself! Trying to learn!
It was said to go through arch but to take taker bumper and light off which I can't be bothered to do.... :)
I'm being dumb.... Anyone point me in the direction of a small torque wrench for the plugs? Mines huge and starts at 28nm.
Also with regards to Aux belt, the workshop manual seems to suggest doing it through wheel arch. Anyone confirm? (Lazy)
