172 cup ph2 aux belt

  Clio 172 Cup, Eunos
I'm going to change the aux belt on my 172 cup ph2 soon, and just wondered if there's any special tools ill need?

I'm removing the front bumper to replace the lights anyway, so planning to do it then.

Is it pretty straight forward with there being no A/C ?
I've looked for a guide but I can't find one, so assuming this job is easy as??

I'm swapping the lights for some new units anyway so figured it would be a good time to do it then..

Cup's a doddle. No need for anything special.

Take a pic of the belt routing and do the usual tensioning and it's peachy

Nice, sounds pretty straightforward, a bit easier than the AC from doing a bit of reading on here.

Cheers gents.

Finally getting round to doing this myself this week.

I have the workshop manual -

Its my first time doing any sort of belt so I just want to confirm - first turn alternator to slacken belt, loosen BOTH alternator mounting bolts (or just the one underneath nut 1?), then turn nut 1 as pictured.

That sound right? lol

Thanks.... Again! ;)

When you say big fixing... I'm just looking at the 2 black bolts in the diagram either side of the pulley?

It's been a long day...
