Silent Hill 2 Remake - [PC/PS5]

I’ve just completed my first playthrough, total time 16.5 hours and oh my god, what a masterpiece. I’ve been playing on PS5 on a 65-inch OLED with 7.1.2 Atmos surround and it was one of the most terrifying & anxiety inducing gaming experiences I’ve ever had. I never played the original as I was always a bit of an RE fan boy so I’m glad I got to experience this for the first time as the story truly sucked me in. I can’t explain how good the sound design is, I’ve never played a game that utilises it so well.

Highly recommend, one of the best games I’ve played in years. 10/10 for me and 11/10 for the sound design & world.

I've not played the remake yet, but thoroughly enjoyed the original. I still have, and listen, to the soundtrack now and again. Great music. I'm looking forward to playing the remake to see the differences and to see how it plays with a modernised control system.

Yeah seen it been advertised for a while and early rumours. Played the original SH1 don’t remember the 2nd. I wouldn’t mind playing this one. Haven’t bought a new game in a while, so I probably get to play it when it comes out on PS+ if it does. It was scary from what I can remember
