Now then Chaps
wishbone bushes...Any pointers please , i've had a look on RPD & can't seem to spot any. Just want a near as OE , I've been looking at the powerflex ones on the bay, At 207 quid, are these the only ones out there., Gearbox is coming out in a few week, So i was gonna use the chance to sort the anti roll ba bushes out & press new bushes in the wishbones.

I've used Strongflex as an alternative to Powerflex in the past. For road use, I recommend going with their Red series bushings, as they're designed for daily driving comfort. If you're planning more track-focused driving, however, the Yellow series would be the better choice.

I'm a bit out of touch with prices these days, but they were always half the price of Powerflex - https://strongflexuk.com/

If you get stuck on diameter, drop me a pm and I can help with that. I'll be about later in the evenings.

Anti-roll bar bushes are still available from Renault.

I'm glad you've replied to my comment, as i'm gonna want a few pointers on pulling the box out, I'm going down the dropping half the subframe route. So i'll be picking ya brains in a couple of week if that's ok . Thanks again.

I am told powerflex don’t make the purple ones for wishbones anymore as they weren’t lasting.

So your option (for PF atleast) would be black. Which you may find too harsh for a road car. They still do purple for the arb.

@Mr Underhill talks sense.

I’ve got some genuine Renault OEM ones removed from a brand new set somewhere in the garage.

Might be an option if you don’t want the powerflex route

Lads a massive thanks for you help/input...it means alot honestly.

Plees i might just grab them off ya's pal, Seen as your just around the corner from me, And Plees my brass bushes landed this morning, I'll stick them in when i drop the gear box & run it down to northloop to fit a selector seal in it. And Mr Underhill cheers again Sir.

Just one more thing chaps i'm gonna pull the box out by droppin half the sub frame, i know i use a big jack, which i have,&get the car up high, iv'e got a load of big wooden blocks for that ........ do i have to remove the top end of the engine mount totally ? And what about the power steering rack, whats the score with that ? ie does that need whipping out the way . Subframe bolts and retainer nuts are all new, so i'm ok on that feckin ball ache front. just after a few little pointers on what needs to be whipped off, ie exhuast & s**t.
