Most sprays like that I do either 100ml or 200ml in a 1ltr bottle.
Pretty much 1:10 or 1:5 at those mixtures.

Similar to the CSL wheels. They look unreal but I’d sooner blend my testicles than clean them. They are the absolute worst. HTH

EZ wheel brush for the barrels.
Wheel mitt or even just a microfibre for the inside and back of the spokes.

No help here, I hate cleaning wheels on a good day but the comp wheels look great in silver!

Ran out of wheel cleaner. Found some Autoglym Clean Wheels in the shed. Actually not that bad! Sprayed on, waited, jet washed off and all the dirt had collected nicely to be washed off. Granted the wheels have been coated in C5 and it was only light dirt but I was impressed for something found in the shed. Shame about the spray bottle as it just leaks out and not a good spray pattern.

Any recommendations for getting scratches out of a glossy dash? They're not that deep I don't think, but there's a fair few of them...

They'll need polishing. If its gloss black dash trim, I honestly wouldnt bother. Theyre a f**king shitting arsing wanker to remove. I did a full correction on a F Type Jag a while back and they have a gloss black trim section that runs across the back of the roof. I had to essentially used a finishing compound with a finishing pad (which I usually use to apply waxes!) and even that didnt bring it up perfect.
I do have a tiny rotary with a micro rotary attachment, think large pen, that id use to tackle it. But genuienly, I wouldnt bother as the next time you wipe it off it will marr again.

Yeah piano black trim is notorious for easily scratching/showing marks.
If you do manage to polish it up and want to keep it mint, you're best off PPF'ing it.

Picked up a Ava P60 from b and q on clearance was up for £279 down from £325, but only had the display model left and got it for £200. Only down side it was missing the snow foam lance but won't really use that

Back of the car has these weird purplish rings all over the paint work on the rear quarter. The ones on the paint came off reasonably easily with some QD spray and a microfibre, but the same kind of marking is on the black plastic trim too and it really doesn't want to come off. Any ideas?

Water-spotting stains.
Could try a strong-ish APC mix and a brush or a dedicated waterspot remover if that doesn't shift it.

Really? They're unbelievably resistant. Almost seems like a polish / wax residue but it came off the paint really easily and just isn't budging in the slightest from the plastic.

My vote is either water spots or, as youve stated, someones spaffed polish over it.
Polish comes off the paint easily as the paint is smooth. That black plastic will have a textured finish and so the residue sits in betwen the 'bumps' so to speak. Its harder to remove!
1. Water Spot Remover
2. Soapy water with a detailing brush and go at it over and over.
3. Isopropyl Alcohol (go careful as it can stain some plastics)

Get some trim dressing on it too when done, that would probably even hide the marks.

If it’s water spots I’ve had decent results just with white vinegar and a soft brush.
Aside from that I get the big guns out and unleash the fairy liquid with a soft brush. It takes anything waxy/oily off pretty easily.
Then once your done use some actual car products

I still really rate BSD.
Autoglym Rapid Detailer is also very good.
I'm currently using EZ Gloss Boss in work and it's ace.

I think infinity wax rapid detailer is the best value QD, flash off, no streaks, slick and glossy. Z6 is still the high end and Z8. C2V3 is the best qd with serious protection and can coat is above that for durability but takes a bit more care on application.
Everytime I use Z6, even 15+years after I discovered it, it still owns s**t. The nostalgic smell, the finish, epic product.
