Filter Help / Info

So K-Tec racing done there Silicon induction hose with a nice big filter on the end that sat at the back of the headlight as pictured below.



This was classed as version 1 and after speaking with k-tec they no long stock or supply this kit at all.
They told me the supplier of the silicon pipe is no longer producing them and I was told they are like hens teeth.

They did tell me there is a Version 2 as in the picture below but I want to know what the actual filter from the version 1 is or who its by and once again k-tec won't tell me.

The Version 2 (Image Below) air filter does not fit the version 1 set up (Picture Above) and to be fair version 2 looks pi$$.

Can anyone shine any light of what the filter is or who is made it, I done some research and "RAM AIR JS108" pops up but im not 100% convinced.

Anyone help ??

Ram air or pipercross would be my guess.

Then again possibly some shitty Chinese tat knowing ktec😂

If you click this link you will see its a RamAir filter and im sure I done digging before but could not find much out apart from k-tec won't tell you anything

I’m sure I’ve read before that it’s a ram air filter.

How cobbled together does the version 2 look 👀 I've never seen that before.

The filter on the version 2 looks bad, Possibly made from some old lady's tights.

And at £179 its not for me , Think the engine bay would look untidy with that kit in it.

Is the JMRS induction kit NLA?
