Wouldn't you be better off going with O2 or an operator that uses their network?

Yeah looks that way, My work phone is on O2 so maybe I should take it for a walk about as EE data is generally pretty slow and patchy all over my village.

I've no idea how much data I'd use if I used it to stream a load of Netflix, Amazon etc as Uswitch has O2 with 250gb data for £16 or 100gb for £12.

PAC code requested as EE claim can do no better than £20.

Will see if they come back to me with anything better.

Aaaand they called back, Didn't bother pushing for Uncapped speeds as can't see it affecting my use but I got the same as below.

Called EE up, said i was leaving.

Best deal was £12 PM. Unlimited everything with EU roaming. Limited to 100Mbits.
24 month contract.

I'm going to move to Lebara. £1.50 for 8 months then £8 after that on a rolling contract 35gb data.

Sorry to sound like a broken record here but Lebara are cheap (I'm on their 90p deal) however for me at least the signal is awful. I'll be moving on when the cheap 7 months is up.

Last few years I’ve chopped about to whoever of the main networks can give me something for about 8-10 SIM only.

Usually no frills, but as long as they offer roaming at fixed day rates it’s all I needed.

Wife was talking about some EE full works plan as she wanted to go back to EE, but it’s always so bloody expensive compared to the others.

Anyway, looking at the full works plan it was on offer £29 pm, unlimited everything, EU and World/US roaming. Still more than the £11 I’m currently paying Vodafone.

But it includes Netflix premium, which currently costs me £19 a month, so turned it into a no brainer for me.

£29 a month, no longer paying the £19 to Netflix, get all my roaming included and EE is by far the best signal for me and the places I go.

Activated yesterday, number ported over this morning, all working and sat on the train to London getting 5G all the way so far and no drop outs like I used to get with Vodafone/O2/Three

I don’t feel the signal with Talk mobile is exactly the same as when I was on Vodafone. The interent speeds especially.
Its not enough for me to change back to Vodafone just yet but it deffo isn't the 'same'
I didn't expect it to be though

Popped onto EE website as mine is due to end in the next month or so and noticed there’s no option for 12 Months. All I see is 1 Month and 24 Months. All I have been doing past fair few years is 12 Months, W#F have they decided to get rid of it? Or can I just call them up say I want a 12 month or see ya

I’ve had EE rang me twice to renew past 2 weeks, and haven’t gone through with anything . Unlimited everything does that include unlimited data? If they ring again I’ll ask for same deal

Just rang up EE just now and all they could offer me was 30GB of data for £11 24 Month Contract, i explained about other prices from other networks and she said that's the best offer. I said I'll leave it and requested PAC code. Not what i was expecting.

Just sacked EE off after being with them for the last 10 years.

They were only offering 24 month contracts which I didn’t want so I’ve gone over to 1p mobile, have got 50gb with free eu roaming on a rolling 30 day contract for £10 a month

They use the EE network and I’ve noticed no change in the coverage I was getting before. Highly recommended

Yeah same here, been with them at the time when T-Mobile got changed over too EE, had to look it up it's been 15 years now and you'd expect to have like some sort of not far off staff discounts. I just want a 12 Month too. I'll wait and see if i get a phone call from them in the next week before contract ends and if not i'll have to use the pac code, not sure how that works. Do the new company sort that out or do i have to do this myself?

Last year i was on 60GB for £12 12 Months and all they can offer me was 30GB for £11 24 Months contract. Crazy

You text PAC to 65075 they’ll send it back straight away, soon as you request that you will have them phone you with the best deals to try get you to stay!

Ah ok, just to clarify you text PAC to that number as you said. And it’s then in the process of leaving them. In the meantime as that is in process they will likely phone you before the PAC actually goes through . They said if you use the PAC now I’ll get charged a little as my contract officially ends end of this month . How long does it take to like when you text them to your not with them anymore, is it a set number of days?

By just requesting the code nothing will happen other than EE will try to phone you and try to get you into another contract.

Once you give the PAC to your new provider your number will transfer over on a set day of your choosing and your existing contract will end at the same time, if you have any money owing to them
They’ll just take it out as a direct debit.

With 1p the transfer of number started at 4am and was completed by 7:30am, you will get an email to confirm completion at that point just stick your new sim in and you’re good to go.
