gutter strips removal / Refitting

  It's nice
Afternoon
I seem to have a dented roof gutter strip (above the rear window) on my 182.
Had anybody had any experience of removing them?
Looks like the seal underneath can be removed with the strip.
Cheers

Push the towards the boot, then prise them up with a butter knife or something that won't scratch the paint, they're only clipped in.

I still need to know the above, so if anyone can let me know please.

Also, what is the likelihood of bending them when I get them off? I need to paint them (or get them painted) along with the rear spoiler.

Looks like three clips per side mate, from when I did mine back at the end of 2023.

There's a small lug pin up towards the door end as well. I've added the part number photos of each strip if you needed to source fresh ones too?

Oh, nice one! Thank you mate! That's just the info I was after! I think I will be ok for the strips, just the clips I think I might need.

Thank you for the clip link too mate :)

You mentioned about them bending - you do have to be careful with them.

I think I put a slight impression on one of mine, but I try to turn a blind eye to it! :p

Cheers mate, yeah I was worried. I got a pin dent in one on the Vee and that annoyed me so I had that sorted out when I got some bits done.

This is for my 172 and they've never been off (I'm going to get them off and repaint them) as the clear coats gone on them :(
