It’s fine. I want to remove it to go through the cabling as it is shocking. Can tell it’s gone through various hands as it has been cut into for various fixes over the years. Want to tidy it up as well.

So small update today as was fighting bolts again. Got the ancillary loom out of the engine this weekend and will be testing continuity and giving it a tidy up. Removed the fuses and there is a little corrosion so need to clean this. Also removed a little more metal but forgot to get pics.

Have also found a large hole under the windscreen which I will need to fix. Spotted when I too the washer bottle out and saw a pile of rust sat there. So an extra hole to fix……..

So been looking at tidying the loom I brought home.

Looks like Stuart Little was peckish.

Started to retake clean it up. Also gave me a chance to cut out the knawed parts and solder in new pieces.

Still a fair amount to do.

Excuse the mess I am a slob.

Also removed all connections from the fuse box to remove the mild corrosion from the connectors and to also clean the fuse box.

Dodgy diagram of wiring positions.

The gearbox was not the easiest thing to remove due to 2 annoying nuts underneath, but got there in the end!

Strip down of the engine to start next weekend! Plus will need to jet wash the engine bay now as well too see what I shall be dealing with in there, although at first glance it does not too bad.
