CSF26 ClioSport Festival 2026 - Tickets On Sale Now!

@Cub. isn't your friend 😂

What's he got?
Cub is my brother from another (much taller) mother.

James has an interesting non Clio! Its a Reliant Scimitar GTE with a Millington Diamond engine! so 300bhp and revs to infinity 99dB at his last day so should all be good.

New engine for this year, last year it was a twin turbo RB25 which I thought was cooler but the new engine is about half the weight. He's a much nicer person than me so should fit in well.

You just want someone there who has more corroded sills than you have

I would have invited you if that was the case.

(fiberglass, all the corrosion is hidden inside where you can't see)
I know theyre fibreglass silly. Just a lovely mild steel strengthener throughout the whole sill 😍😍😍

Getting excited for this now!
Can’t believe it’s been almost 12 months since Anglesey.

Not sure if we did cover/confirm this but, about the 20 min sessions….

Obviously open pit, you can come in, check your pressures, swap passengers etc etc.

Is it still like this with sessions?
For example I can do a 10 min stint, come in, check pressures / swap passengers and then get back out.
20 mins is a long time as a passenger with me if you don’t want to be hanging on to your bumhole.

You're being very ambitious if you think you're gonna have time to come in and do anything on a 20 minute session, which sharp becomes a 15 minute session because of the warn up and cool down lap you typically do.

I think we're going to see quite a bit of send it from cold and diving into the pits red hot, with it being sessions.

Notice how Rob has not been quick to update the VX build thread…all these people asking for passenger laps would soon change their mind when they find out about his nipples, foul temper and lack of brake callipers. What a shame!

I get that.

It was more if the passenger wanted to come in for example then can you go back out.
I’m more than happy being out there 20 mins straight.

100% mate, if you fit then great!

You will need a full face helmet and long sleeves. I will do a few sessions alone before taking people round, get to grips with the track etc. Afternoon is prime for passenger laps (y)

Perfect 🤩 appreciate it 😌😌

I was hoping to wear my Jamaican coloured string vest if the weather's warm enough.
Will hate a long sleeve 😞

Rules are rules though I guess

It's usually once you're in you're in as the paddock will start filling with the next group, so there's no good way to get back out.
That being said, I've never done a session day at Cadwell, so it may be different.

I can confirm that if you need to come in during your session there is no reason that you would not be allowed to rejoin the session, each session will essentially be open pit for those cars assigned to that session. As someone else mentioned the cars for the next session will be getting lined up ready to go in the holding area so it will require navigating by these cars. In general with sessions you want to make the most of the time available and avoid stopping unless really necessary.

Cheers @Nik

Like I said, I don’t intend on coming in but good to know you can get back out if necessary.

The marshals in the assembly area are normally pretty spot on and get you lined up, usually leaving enough room for people to come in to the area across the front of the little grandstand on pit entry. If you go back up to the main paddock you won't get back down.
