Yeah all the S1600 scream there nuts off, sounds superb. Dont think they are in the Junior WRC championship though, but there may well be one in the Network Q.
The second photo I got was of a Corolla?? First ones OK though.
There were two clios competeing on this rally, the other one is a PEV Motorsport one driven by Carsten Mohe.
I think they both retired with mechanical problems but they kick out 230Ps..not bad from a 1600!!
Came screaming past bouncing off the rev limiter a few times, very nice just hope...

Can you not have an arrangement that mirrors the valves, using something like a tyre depth gauge that is pre-calibrated. Clamping the cams downs with a suitable device then from that you secure your rail that holds all your gauges.
Rotate the cams with a calibrated lever and read off the...
You got to remenber that the mounts are there for other reasons other than just holding the engine in place. Otherwise they would of just put a fixed mechanical bracket in there. They reduce/eliminate all sorts of vibrations and stresses. (Thats why the F1 teams with the supertec engines had so...
Doesnt it have that in your Haynes manual, I know it doesnt cover the willy but it should be the same for a 16V.
Tried the additive stuff myself but could tell either way. The only way is to take them out and get them cleaned properly.

Ctain,
Very nice. I dont mean to be pain in the arse but can you measure the amount of lift for each cam in say 5 deg increments?? It would then give me a nice profile of the cam, perhaps near the peak in would be 1 deg increments.
Possibly it would make it easy to see what is going on if...
Good lad, someone after my own heart.
The dream is to get a big open garage and layout the car component by component like they do in some photo shots, then re-built it from scratch changing bits as you go!!!
OK so maybe its just me!!
A guy at work here used to be the works co-driver for the Golf Tdi team when it ran in the BRC.
He says it was awsome..just have to get used to changing gear earlier than normal.
