the cambelt should of been done by now mate 72k or 5 years.
If your cambelt has been changed then NO you dont need it yet you will when it reachs 144k tho :)
the mk 1 172 will be faster aswell so youll have even more fun then in your 182 ;) for 5k you cant complain can you.
Oh mines a W reg and has an alloy bonnet, my brother has an X reg and also has a alloy bonnet.
If only it was that easy, if you wanted to do it yourself it would still cost a lot

So a clio 182 can do 0 - 60 in 5.8 and a 1/4 in 14.2 ???? thats strange because when i took my mates 182 down the strip i couldnt even get into the 14s :D

driven mk 1 172 , mk 2 172 & 182
IMO the mk 1 seems faster and handles better then both. i prefer the 15" aswell seem to get loads of torque steer from the big horrible 16"
my mk 1 is rolling on to 83k miles now she seems fine im even going to snetterton on friday for a trackday.
ive driven a 182 cup a mk 2 172 and i own a mk 1 172
i prefer the handling on my mk 1, i also think the mk 1 is slighter faster aswell
i did a 14.8 down the 1/4 mile the 182 cup only pulled 15.5 i was driving both :)

standard filter with de-cat and system, spare wheel e.t.c left in

^^ heres my best run 14.8 @ 92 mph in my mk 1 172, thats with full interior, ive got a full system and a de-cat, standard filter e.t.c. 82k on the clock :D
