its about 2 wks before. got mine for £680 thats on a mk1 172 im 22 & 2yrs NCB worth doing a quote on there online system first gives you an idea.
elephant put mine up after a year so i rang them and asked why it soon went down.
CAN OF WORMS power figures are. Rolling roads are not very accurate IMO. my STANDARD 172 got 175bhp and 170 Ft bl of torque (standard is 150 ft lb) :o haha says it all really.

i get this smell and i dont even have a standard exhaust.
its the brakes that smell thats why they only do it after a hard drive i.e (on the brakes alot)
i never spin my wheels, i like my wheels bearings, clutch, gearbox, driveshafts, bushes to much. plus you go alot faster when your wheels arent spinning .
Had a custom exhaust fitted yesterday with the cats removed aswell. i knew it was gonna be loud, but nothing prepared me for when i started it.
Luckly i dont do motorway miles :o

Need more info really, does the guage go higher when driving? does the fan kick in? why was the rad changed? e.t.c
The VNT turbo is still very experimental a few people have got them to work fine, but they are VERY expensive looking at £1000+
A T25 is a good match between power and LAG, it will start boosting up at around 3500.
K-tec racing and BB tuning also do the fuel pump your after. have a look on...
dont forget that it WILL have over 150 ft bl of torque aswell :) trust me it will be quick.
a standard gtt will keep up with 172s at 15 psi you out accelrate one easy.
if you wanna go over 16psi i would recommend water injection and a bigger turbo.
full t25 would be good (.49 comp housing...
One of the major problems with this Volvo engine is that the ignition controler also has an overboost switch. Unlike the GTT, on which it was possible just to plug it out, on the volvo it is hard to tamper with it. The result is that with this ECU it is not possible to go above 0.9-1 bar...
if i had a aftermarket filter i would do an air temp test as i have a little device i made that measures charge temps which i used for my GTT :)
i bet the standard filter is as good, and with the spare £60+ in my wallet i might just go and put some petrol in my car ;)
just been looking on autotrader, prices seems to vary between £13000 and £17000 ???
how much should i pay for one. dont mind private but dealer would be better so i can trade my 172 in.
