Fair enough. I found that on arrival mine cleaned off with ease after a light spray. Not quite so easy on the return journey. Well and truly welded on. May have something to do with the significantly higher impact speeds observed on the way home when not in a convoy. ;)
I didn't drive 450 miles my journey was just over 100. My question was a genuine one.
Would the tape/film not cause some degradation of your fine finish after baking onto the car during the four hour drive in the lovely sunshine?
When I arrived at CS Saturday the majority (myself included) were using a detail spray of some description along with a micro fibre cloth to get rid of the few bugs that had given their lives despite my E-Mail. Did notice one person with a couple of buckets doing a proper clean.
Is such a...
1. Reconnect the battery. (leave bonnet open)
2. Open passenger door and lock the car using the button on the dash. (drivers door and boot closed)
3. Close the passenger door and lock it with the key.
4. Disconnect the battery and close the bonnet.
Or have I missed something.......
Was nice when we left South Mimms as there were lots of heads turning as 20+ cars pulled off through the car park.
As for ripping down the fast lane a few in the convoy clearly failed to notice that the 50mph speed limit on the M25 was lifted after about junction 20. ;)
Had we continued at...
This was the only minor let down TBH. I expected a few more of the traders to be about tempting me into parting with my hard earned.
Those that did attend did a great job and offered some fantastic deals. I would however suggest ClioSpares invest in a stronger table for next year. :o
I've sent an E-Mail out to the king of bugs. Between 7am and 11am all bugs are banned from flying near any road frequented by a member of cliosport.net traveling to the CS Saturday event.
Sorted. :D

Re: Do Turini's have a different ET depending on whether they are from a Trophy or a
Make sure you go with 195 tyres to give the best chance of fitting. 205's will make it worse I suspect.
Re: Do Turini's have a different ET depending on whether they are from a Trophy or a
Believe, but could be wrong, that the ph2 1.2 are 48.5 as standard.
Not sure if the turinis have the offset stamped on the inside of the rim.
Just stick them on and have a look/steady drive. You will know...
Re: Do Turini's have a different ET depending on whether they are from a Trophy or a
If they are cup offset (38.5) then you may have issues with scrubbing if what I've read previously on here is correct.
Let me know if you want to sell them on. ;)
Cheers for the quick reply gents.
Think I may well go with the D3100 as it appears to meet all my needs and be user friendly.
Fingers crossed will be able to practice with my new toy at CS Saturday on the 30th. :D
