turns out only the subframes from phase 2 16v clio has removable subframes, so the search begins lol.
then again, its a good excuse not to take back seat passengers at the moment!
iv had my valver back for 2 days now, fully flushed tailgate, alien spoiler, smoothed bumper, and iv really noticed ppl tailgating now!, never had it b4

i bounced off the limiter at about 138/140 in my valver, (clock reading) how accurate that is i dunno, prob closer to 130 i guess
i always found the top speed of my valver was nearly 10mph higher when i had 5up! possibly making the car lower so less...
was driving a mk3 astra at the time, 1.4 Si....
it was on its last legs due to rust etc, and i wanted something that i could insure, but would be fairly rapid, and handle well, and ofcourse, wasnt a 106 or saxo
i thought clios were girls cars, then a m8 took me out in a valver, and a month...
any1 here got a williams blue clio, that is also using OMP safety gear of any sort?

power band starts at bout 4 - 4.5k on my valver
on twin cams aint one cam for inlet valves and the 2nd for zorst valves? as 16 valves would be a VERY tight fit on a single cam?
i heard something bout a cam kicking in on the honda Vtecs, dont they have 3 sets of cams or something??
dunno bout the 80s volvo, i know the 440s etc had engines based on renault engine, volvo basically reproduced them to their spec as far as im aware
the newish shape (about 98 i think) civic?? cheap to insure, can be sporty, and can look the nuts!!
sounds like a driveshaft to me, u might be able to push it back in to get u along ur way, but it wont last long.... i mean might be enough to get u home, might not, def needs replacing if it is ur driveshaft...
are the centre caps made from the same material as the actual wheel itself?
may sound a silly question but i was gonna put the centre caps in a sandblast cabinet with the wheels

i dont find it a problem, its just one of those little things, that if easy to fix, will go on the list of things to do!
i may try changing the cable at some point, see if that works

are there any valvers out there, where the speedo needle doesnt wobble all over the place at anything under approx 30mph?
normally i would have thought speedo cable has had it, but iv been told all valvers have the same problem! (and have yet to see one without the problem

supercharged V6 def has been done, theres a guy round the corner from me who has had it done (could be this Mike T for all i know)
iv been led to beleive that k-tec are the ppl who converted it as well.....
looking to get some white dials, wondering wheres the best place to buy?
was looking at lockwood, but cant seem to find a price lower than 45 quid? is this the going rate?
dials are to be fitted to a clio 16v (7 dial set)

i was told the pump (from reno) is about 200 inc VAT alone, no fitting!
mine makes an awful groaning noise, but i dont seem to be leaking fluid anywhere exceot from the cap, the little hole in the cap at that (when i pop the bonnet, there is fluid all over the top of the cap as well as...
so they aint all the same as the clock?
(im guessing the clock only glows orange due to that filter that goes over the bulb itself?)
and where are you buying these LEDs from?
am i right in guessing they are a kit to directly replace the bulbs with bezels?
i have the exact same problem on my clio16v
have bled the system in the way described above, have done it with the engine running as well, topped it up with slick 50, no change, pump is still very noisy...
it seems to spray the PAS fluid over my engine bay, where ever the level is...
how strange, this is almost the same as the topic i was about to start
basically im also a blue man, but i want the whole dash blue
how hard is it to do this? is it the same as cliosportcraig has showed us with the clock?
i was gonna ask what colour the williams dials glow?
