Correct...my Saxo has no back seats and a cage, this passes it's MOT. I'm not 100% but as far as I'm aware, if there's seats.. there needs to be seat belts and if there's seat belts, they need to work.

Yeah, as far as I'm aware, everything needs to be removed, belts and buckles and seats. then this shouldnt be a problem.

To be honest, I wouldn't have coilovers on my road going car but... I can see your problem, especially if they've done it for you the year before! Glad you got it sorted though.

If you want sound, go buy a K&N. Just don't be expecting any sort of performance gain. In some cases they can have the opposite effect!! Although the gen2's are a nice bit of kit :)

I'd go for a panel filter dude, people like ITG on here, haven't used one so can't comment. I personally like BMC. Pointless in my opinion going for anything more on a standard car. You'll probably not gain anything really noticeable from fitting any type of filter, but it adds to the spec...

I presume you had the work done at an independant garage? It just looks like a standard aftermarket cat. It should have no affects on the emissions or performance what so ever. No way would it be custom made. I wouldnt worry dude :)

2 poster ramps are no good for an MOT, has to be a 4 poster, as you need to use the turntables etc. Like eggy has said above if you can find someone with a pit that would be better, not sure if many places have these now. Plus you car has to be able to get over the jacking beam thats in the...

I would have though £1800 expensive. I'd advise going to a scrappy for wheels. The belt tensioners and airbag I'd probably buy from Renault just to be on the safe side, unless someone reliable has some spare on here.
