Front Lights

  182 T
First off, forgive me if this is a stupid question.

Bought a 182 a couple of weeks ago, When the lights are on full beam they are quite clearly luminous white xenons, same when I put them on high beam.
When the sidelights or the fog lights are on they are clearly very yellow, bog standard bulbs.

Is this how it is normally or does it mean the bulbs have gone in the past and been replaced with 'normal' ones?
It's not a fault, they all work etc just out of interest really.

Also - silvervisions - legal? worth it? where from?

Thanks.

nomral for yellowyness of standard sidelights and fogs

You can uprate the bulbs for a closer match.

Silvervisions are legal check for ones with "E" mark, and dont say things like for show use.

Side lights there are some philips ones witha good match.

Or as allot on here have done LED`s but these are illegal

Silvervisions; yes legal. Yes worth it. Look on eBay but don't get conned into buying any £20 ones. Search for "chromed indicator bulbs", make sure the colour they light up to is still amber.

As for the sidelights I'm not sure, but if you plan to replace them then it will be best for you to look for some LED bulbs, not normal ones coated in blue (As they will still look yellow compared to your xenons)

I'm pretty sure they're only illegal if they aren't white/yellow. Mine are white (Have a tinge of blue though) and I have HID's, never had a problem
