350hp on low boost (9psi) and ~500hp on high boost!!
Owner took me out in it when he collected the car, it was just silly, lots of wheelspin! Too much powah!
Hi mate, yes I do dent removal and wheel refurbishment on-site as add ons to any detailing treatment. Thanks for looking at the site, you'll have seen the gallery so you can rest assured your car is in safe hands. I do every day cars as well as exotics and my references are the same throughout...
Some 'valeting' from last week ;)
1st stage of correction..
After refining..
No BS sunlight shot..
Mitchell & King 'Armour' followed by a coat of 'Rannoch'
Finished pictures were a bit pap because someone decided to start up a car and leave it running for 20mins to try and gas us...
Russ says that too :D
You're not far from me, being in Bolton.... you gonna try and nick my business?! lol. To be the best you've got to beat the best........... or just have better marketing!
joking... ;)
That is 1 of 2 in the UK in that colour - Shell Mica :)
I forgot to say what I used! It was Swissvax Best of Show on the 8C, Crystal Rock (which I did mention) on the Corvette's and it was Ceramishield PRO on the 1M.
Got to love Bentley's hey Russ!!!
That was back in February though, so can't really say recently. Took this down to Tesco though for one of those hand washes!!
There was some 'merican muscle shenanigans at the back end of summer too!!
Also tidied up the ZR1 in the background too...
Britemax metal twins for me and some #00 grade wire wool :)
The small black deposits found on the outer surface of the tailpipes is more likely to be tar, actually, so a good tar remover first followed by the polishing with a metal polish and wire wool would bring them up to as new condition.
I usually use degreaser and work it in with a brush mate, that is generally the best method. What you find on the towel is more likely leftover tyre dressing residue..
Technically yes, the sealant will interfere with the glaze and prevent it from bonding properly and thus the fillers would fall out very quickly. The correct process would be to totally strip everything back and begin with glazing, then sealing, and then on top of that you may wax or add further...
Some glazes have heavier fillers than others, and IIRC Amigo is a very fine filler - lending itself better to producing that really deep, wet and glossy look. Just to add, you'll always get better and more consistant results by machine. Rotary is not particularly the best option for glazing with...
Went to see RussZS yesterday. He was really impressed with this wax. Said it repels water like a glass coating, and I let him perform a load of tests on it to satisfy his mind this wasn't a magic trick! Nearly neat g101 had no effect. Tardis had no effect. Iron-X no effect. The only thing that...
Yeah, I do have a site. magicdetail.co.uk :)
I drive through Alty every day as I drop the missus off at work in the town centre and/or I am at the bank or gym lol.

Aston Martin DBS, Swissvax Best of Show;
Bentley Supersports GT, MD1 Prototype and Swissvax Crystal Rock;
Ferrari 599GTO, Zaino Z2/Z8;
McLaren MP4-12C, M&K Rannoch and Swissvax Crystal Rock;
These have kept me busy over the last month or so :)
Enjoy...
These are pig tails btw, incase anyone was wondering what they actually are. Frequently found on Aston's, like this DBS..
But they do come out, without any sanding (as that's what causes them, sanding by DA)
Keep both away from soft tops - absolutely not neccessary. A gentle APC solution sprayed on and agitated with a nail brush or similar should be all you need. A wet vac is also handy as this helps remove the grime and also aids drying :)
Hope you don't mind me asking, but you're wanting correction and thus are wet sanding, why? You don't need to wet sand to correct paintwork? 3 or 4 stages of polishing over the same number of days should be all you need for true correction (none of this "correction in a day" that many detailers...
There was freshly applied wax on the bumper and door I believe - well, from yesterday :) the water took 7 or 8 x as long to disperse the water, and on the bumper infact, after it had rolled off the wing, held onto the water whereas the wing was dry. I agree with what you're saying though, it's 3...
Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular. I also demonstrated how this same combination also has a limited amount of cut, and I was able to round off a couple of deep scores on the bonnet - if I'd used a polishing pad I would have removed them, but the purpose of the excercise was to simply strip off the...
Thanks for coming round Scott and sharing your photo's. I'm still struggling with Photobucket, it wont let me upload the images :(
I have already uploaded to my Facebook, not sure if adding a link is against the rules, if a mod sees it then please delete if appropriate...
Had a play about with Knuckles car today. I will let him tell the story!!
Having problems with Photobucket unfortunately guys, but as soon as it's fixed I'll get a few pics up :)
