past two cars I have had, had decals on them (R26 and Cooper S) and now my arctic 182 I find is a bit plain. What do you reckon to these stripes...

I'm going to do a DIY wheel respray on my 182. I got a spare from when i had my Cooper S, the wheel is 16" but not sure if it would? anyone know if it would fit? dont fancy pulling my shed apart to get to the wheel, jack the car up and find it wont fit.

Looking at getting a splitter but not sure to get a cup splitter or the matt finish carbon fibre from k-tec. How does the matt compare witht the gloss one for ease of chipping and scratching?

Bored of my silver 182 wheels on my Artic Blue. Which colour goes best do you all reckon? Any pics as well to compare ;)

Re: artic blue owners (182) white wheels aint to bad, I had greenstuff pads and wasnt that much brake dust off them. quick squirt with wheel cleaner, job done.

My car didnt come with a bulb in the boot light, what size festoon bulb do I need? got 44mm out of my MINI but its way to big.

k-tec sell millteks, also a few on ebay or try direct from milltek

Paid £140 for mine and was already in the same colour as my car. Looks great i reckon, how all the 172/182s should come as standard.

i dont think the handling is all that, but im used to my cooper s which is the best handling car ive driven so far. think the suspension is a bit soft. so as soon as i get enough dosh im gonna lower and stiffen the suspension.

Dont get me wrong, Millteks sounds awsome, just ive had alot of bad experience with them so have lost confidence.

I only bought my system for the Cooper S about 4 months ago. Even tho its got a lifetime warranty, it still annoying when the welds crack or my case on the R26, the whole thing actual fell off.

How about a carbon splitter? would be interesting to compare prices with k-tec

looking at that now. I think maybe the red looks better because your wheels are black and your car is a dark colour.

What ever you do, do not buy a Milltek!!!! Worst 1s to buy, rubbish welds on them and fall apart easy. had one on my Cooper S and R26 and both systems fell apart after a few months.

yellow looks good against a blue car. did mine yesterday in yellow.

i was either thinking of getting a scorpian system or pay pro-speed a visit. Not getting a Milltek after all of my bad experiences with them

think the 2.5" give a raspy noise, 3" will give a deeper sound. all to do with resonance and back pressures.

no it shouldnt do. thing that will make a difference in sound is bore of the pipes and the size of the back boxes.
