Thanks for comment, not sure wether to keep the renaultsport flag decals. Will looks better when I get it lowered and a splitter fitted.
As for the lacquer, I did about 4-5 coats. I just kept spraying them until the wheel had a nice smooth feel and finish.
after owning a R26 and a cooper S, it would be hard to choose. i like the turbo kick and whistle but i love the instant power and whine of a super charger.
Ive got the samsung. its a great netbook. 10" is about the right size, screen is nice and bright and your looking around 4 hours battery with everything on full and up to 6 hours with everything turned down.
my idle is fine, idles at about 1000 rpm. I removed the airbox and everything seems fine. Looks like i'll have to buy a code reader and see what the fault is.
Fitted a V6 airbox earlier with ITG filter. used original elbow, no caf fitted yet until I get my samco elbow. When I start the car up the engine management light stays on, anyone know why its coming up?
Thought as much, the laquer is a solvent so if the paint it slghtly damp it will just make it run again. Done two wheels nearly. just 1 more coat of laquer. surprised how quick everything is drying in the weather. normally it would take at least a whole day when its cloudy.
looks good with chrome. think i might leave mine. dont think many people on here have colour coded the centre cap diamonds. i cant find pics of people who have
Yeh i rubbed the wheel down with some various grit of wet and dry, starting off with 400 making my way up to 1200 to get it smooth. I always leave it 24 hours before i laquer.
Im in the process of spraying my silver 182 wheels in Ford Graphite grey. My car is arctic, not sure wether to leave the diamonds chrome or spray them arctic to match the car.
well im going to do two wheels at a time. two today and two tuesday. decided for ford graphite gray, wanted a slightly darker colour than anthro. dont know wether to keep the diamonds chrome or spray them arctic to match my car.
I had some apex springs on my Ph2 172 when i had it and I didnt find them to harsh, if anything, the ride is more harsh in my standard cooper S than it was in my 172. people who say there harsh are whimps :rasp:
Got if off a V6 espace on ebay which was breaking. Couldnt believe it myself, £20 for some CAF feed and about £40ish for a ITG filter, so only about £60-70 for all of it. cant complain :rasp:
i just bought a V6 airbox myself for £10. Shouldn't be that much problem fitting it. Ive ran a CAF before on my old PH2 172 down through where the accoustic valve is and then down to the lower grill.
