Yep, the day is car p**n. I've been to the FIA GT meet about 5 or 6 times now, each year is a great day out. If you like the noise, Le Mans series in septemer is definately worth a visit. All that noise for 6 hours non-stop, plus get the prototype racers from the 24 hour race too.
It was a good day, cant beat the GT1 noise, especially the V12 masers, lambos and astons. Although, the mucielago r-gt from previous years did sound much better than the current lp-670sv-r.
The 599XX is the same type of project as the FXX. Ferrari take it to races and you turn up to rag it round the circuit. They are to be used as test beds. After the programme has finished the owner can then do what he/she wants with the car.
well I spotted a Mercedes SL AMG Black series the other week, think theres only 8 in the country. It looked immense.
Oh and 44 (i think) F40s parked up, was at a Ferrari Racing Day but still an awesome sight. Especially seeing as they were with about 450 other Ferraris. :)
I have the same problem, what glue did you use? I've glued mine twice now and it doesn't last more than a couple of months. I used epoxy resin and prepared both surfaces beforehand.
Re: Possible new splitter found!!
Not essential but I did and found it easier, especially at the sharp bends at each corner of bumper. Just helped me to align it better.
Very true, never looks all that good in photos, but in the flesh on a decent day it looks awesome, sort of blue with a green flick in the paint. Love it!!
Re: Possible new splitter found!!
Just go on Skoda website, theres a dealer locator on there.
Fitted mine tonight, didn't take long and looks pretty good. Heres some pics:

I'm pleased with the results, especially for the price :).

Re: Possible new splitter found!!
They come 'rolled' in a flat box thats about 75cm square (rough guess from memory). Shouldn't be too expensive to post.
Re: Possible new splitter found!!
Its worth an hour drive to save about £150!!
EDIT: order one from Skoda Plymouth and pick one up when you have finshed easter hols from uni.
