December.
Not much to update. Done nothing for the past few weeks apart from doing another day at Silverstone.
Had a little mishap tho. Lost 2 bolts on the 5th gear gearbox cover thingy. Lost a bit of oil. But luckily managed to find some spare bolts that fitted, and some oil. Apart from that...
Thanks mate :) got a few upgrades lined up during the winter just want to get Silverstone out of the way.
And yes 45deg elbow and clip [emoji2958][emoji1787][emoji108] if it works it work right. It’s plastic, light weight and black. And the right size!

Stoping power is massively overspect now you not wrong! Especially on RC6 pads. But to be fair it was just as easy to lock up on oem calipers with RC6s. Planing to remove vacuum assist see what that does. Also have a set of PBS coming. They aren’t as aggressive as RC6 so might be an option for...
discs are 2kg lighter and calipers are 1.6kg lighter(including pads and brackets). i could be wrong about 1:6 conversion. some say it can be as much as 1:10. but either way. even if it was only 7.2kg 1:1 its defo a big drop from original weight.
this kind of work is very very difficult to average price. all greatly depends on material used, amount of it, time taken, and a few other factors. mine cost me £600. but it may be different for you. so please don't quote me on that price :) "why mine is 650 and you done that guy for 6" kinda...
November 2018
(Technically this was done in October)
Not much to say about this upgrade.
4 pots, custom j-hook discs, RC6 pads, new fluid. Total weight saving is 7.2kg of unsprung weight!!! I believe it’s equivalent to x6 of sprung weight and equates to 43kg. Please correct me if I am wrong...
Yeah to be fair I was building mine for TDC or tricolore. And then half way through I decided I wanted a turbo... kinda went downhill from there lol... now a little tired of just Trackdays. I need to consider all options now

I can’t believe it [emoji17]☹️[emoji20] I was sooooo looking forward to the sadev and now it looks like not only it will be a waste of money but also risk of smashing it to bits with any sort of competitive power ahhhhh !

Yeah that’s my other big worry [emoji51] from my research so far, the box I am supposedly getting is only rated at 196 ft/lb mine is already 219... it’s the ST75-14. Can anyone knowledgable confirm what max rating is?

I have thought about it to be honest. But was under impression they are all mainly on rough terrain and in Scotland/Ireland.
Do you have any web links I can look at?

Hi Guys.
What series can I race in with sequential sadev box from x65 Clio cup?
Anything competitive will do! Last thing I wanna do is spend my daughters uni fund lol on the box and limit myself to Trackdays...
oh and I am boosted a little [emoji51] but that’s not a huge problem as can always...
I moved mine about 5cm inwards. Surprisingly makes all the difference. I am 6’4” by the way. Seat is as far back as physically possible. More details in my build.

I did not do side by side tests unfortunately. But I can 100% feel it in the high speed corners. Front is digging in a lot more tendency to oversteer
