Little vid from Bedford 25/09/18
I am happy, it’s faster around Bedford than my RS4 by a good 6sec. Not that I was timing or anything. [emoji13]
Camera is about 4inch from
The ground. Hard mounted to splitter. A little too low I think. Need to revise that.

And it works mega! A bit too much downforce! Rob was right about rear getting light in high speed corners lol. Did a short off-road course past the pit straight at Bedford yesterday. Mowing the lawn with that blade ha ha. After dialled in suspension a little softening the rears and stiffening...
If you weren’t looking in Scotland, I’d have a crack at it :) Recently built both engine and interior looms from scratch. And to my surprise, it all works! [emoji41]?

There is a lot of talk about aero pros/cons etc.
But I wanted to try myself. Partly cos I am stubborn and extra 5kg won’t make a difference and partly cos I like making things. Used 4mm ally for brackets.
12mm marine ply
extra cooling ducts,
And lawn edging for an air dam...
I guess I was wrong! Sorry for a bad advice. I was convinced that 3500 was total current weight and not possible max weight. The power of internet hey. Well my other advice is still sound! Get B+E.

total weight must not exceed 3.5t
basicaly add your car unladen weight+trailer+what ever on trailer+ what ever inside the tow vehicle.
almost any car that can tow around 1800-2000 will do.
Yes that’s correct. 3500max. That’s including everything. Both cars, trailer, fuel, tyres, tools etc. Very easy to go over.
I have passed my B+E licence this Thursday.
Training and exam all in one day. Highly recommend.

Hehe I was looking at those duct about a month ago.. didn’t want spend what they wanted. Not this in particular but similar. Even tried make my own (melting and bending gutter pipe) but looked to ghetto to fit to a track car haha. So resorted to a slightly different solution. Will update my...
Funny enough I had a similar idea. Currently have generic ferodo pads at back. But have a set of PBS wanna try out.
Front brakes are going for a full overhaul ;) big update coming soon. There is been some proper cooking in me kitchen haha

Hmm I am not sure actually. Don’t think I spent enough time tinkering with it to understand. But with no pressure at rear the rear end was very lively at hard braking. Felt light it was getting very light and had a pendulum effect.. sort of. If it makes sense.

Not much faster haha
But in my defence [emoji13] this was my first ever outing in this car. Defo can do better.. but considering the power I have a be it only 230bhp it’s not an impressive time... but saying that my mate in a 600bhp GTR does 1.47... and he is a good driver not just...
Also you think it’s fine to run different brand slicks? Matching pairs of course. Fancy trying Michelin’s if I am honest. Stick them on front. Keep PXRS1 on rear.

Thanks mate. 1.6mm enough for a single track session you think? They won’t be driven on a road.
Also thanks for his name. Any chance you can send a link to 1 of his listings? For the life of me can not find him.
