This update I will call: “An elegant (or not [emoji12]) solution to a problem you never knew existed”
Basically I want to be able to lock the car with a key. For various reasons.
Originally car came with only passenger side lock barrel. No good for locking drivers side when you have no central...
i have re-sealed in few places where there were gaps but nothing major.
looking forward to youyr update on the locks.
i had to order drivers side actuator as mine dint have the barrel pick up thingy on it. and 2 new barrels and keys.
interesting how you secured the barrels from the inside.
Ok today tried to fit glass to my front doors... what I didnt know is that they were meant to go on the inside of the door. Because they are same size as the originals.
As I have fibre glass doors... well here comes the Dremel!
Also trimmed the inside edge of the door as well.
And saved...
Few more updates this weekend.
Interior loom is almost finished. Amazing how easy it becomes once you ditch the UCH.
Upgraded the cabling slightly. 2awg mains cable run to junction box. From there it splits to starter/alternator and PDP.
Also ordered 0awg cable for the battery ground. Found...
Hi guys. A bit of a weird one here. How do people lock their race cars?
Not looking for an obvious answer like “standard central locking” etc.
I mean on dedicated track/race cars with removed UCH, central locking etc.
I have no UCH left. So no central locking or alarm. But think it would be...
Don’t worry about it. It’s not a race car, generic map is fine. If you happy with it, roll with it! No point chucking money at it for extra few BHP

Yep. Tested the switch on the bench. Had 4 wires coming on. Found 2 that we’re responsible and wired it in line. Got power from control panel through 15amp inline mini fuse holder, and the other wire going directly to the lights. Feels wrong not to use relay actualy but I guess that’s how it is...
June 2018
There were quite a few road blocks.
First and biggest is the fact car is French haha and I have hands growing not from where they a meant too lol.
After the car run. I decided to trim the engine loom a bit. And I guess something went wrong. Immobiliser solid light. Tried absolutely...
They are. No more fuses or relays. It gets a direct 12v from battery. Than you just drop single wire to what ever component you want. (+earth to chassis were necessary) that’s it!
I sold my soul to the devil for this one. For the brake light, I will have 15a(or 10a) in-line fuse. Essentially...
Yeah that’s what I was thinking. But I won’t have any more fuses or relays, or cruise control, abs... all gone! All components controlled by PDP. Freaking love that thing! So clever. And easy to use :)
So I guess I will try wire them directly from that switch. See what that does.
Hi Guys.
once UCH is removed, how do you control brake lights? i went with Cartek PDP for all the switches. and going with DTA S60 ECU.
i am a little puzzled, how do i wire brake lights? this may seem like a stupid question but i am kinda puzzled.
does brake light switch act as a normal...
