I don't even know what's wrong with it yet, could be a cheap fix, could be new engine time, all I know is it's tapperty, it missfires and cylinder 4 is significantly down on compression
If it's Anglesey I'll need one of my sh*t heaps working, always wanted to drive that track, I don't trust the Golf to make a single lap before something let's go and the Clio might have a stuck lifter, or valve, or f*cked piston ring, so it might need an engine rebuild.
Shame you have to book...
What about splitting it into two events?
Normal CSF day like we used to have at Gaydon and Duxford and a separate track day at another venue on a different day, it's not ideal but it has the advantage of only having to organise the CSF day as a track day company can organise the other.

One of it's problems is an electrical fault causing it to cut out and arching HT leads are the most likely culprit, the fact that I can't remember them ever being changed or if they have I can't remember when, means they're due for a change anyway, they...
You could clean it with WD40 and a toothbrush, the hinges on the butterfly valve collect crap especially if you have an oil impregnated air filter, but the cutting out issue sounds like a total signal loss, swap for a mates TB and see if that helps.
They do get gunked up with sh*t (engine temp may free it up a little) and they also wear out over time, a hell of a lot of my electrical issues went away when I swapped the throttle body over.
