Update - Photoshoot
I spent a couple of days over the BH weekend last week cleaning the 182, it has not been cleaned inside for a very long time. The outside was treated to a full wash & dry, followed by a wax. I wasn't expecting much from the paintwork but I think it came up really well.
I'm...
Yes! Really pleased it's gone to a good home. I knew the previous owner was going to use it as a track toy. I'll look forward to seeing what you do next. Shout if you need any details from my ownership.

You will love it mate. I'll send over all the photos I have saved if you send me your email details on here.
Look forward to seeing what you have planned.

Good to see you again too mate. Not at all, it was so cold there, I was quite pleased Alex fixed the heating.
The drive home was noisy! Great to hear the ITBs. Didnt see your RB parked up?

Couple more pictures from collection day at the weekend.
Alex has been brilliant as ever, really great handover and plenty of information to help us understand what's been done.
First time driven on the road again since 2019. Couple of pictures from the first petrol stop on the way home...
Update - Finished.
As it's been a while since I last updated this thread, November last year I believe.
The car had not moved since the last update until Valentines day this year, where I decided a great way to spend it with the other half would be following a recovery truck down to AW...
Good results mate. Looks great on those wheels too, mines heading up to ED this month with Alex at AW. Can't wait for it now.

Looks really clean mate. I'd be tempted to have the wheel retrimmed by Snappy? What's your plans for the interior? Following with interest!

Thank you mate. I did sell it back in April, I heard the new owner is using it on track aswell as weekend hack. I do miss it.. Regret selling it looking at the pictures again.

I'd certainly be up for this later in the year, virus and work permitting. If anyone is thinking of going from the Midlands I'd love to join the convoy. Love to see an itinerary too.

Mine are the EVO ONE, very much a clubsport seat, a fixed bucket like the pole positions. Here's a link for more details:

I know motorsporttools is another stockist.
Hope that helps...
I've had mine in a couple of years with matching harnesses and door pulls. Very good seats and surprisingly comfortable! I know K-Tec now stock these.

I've been with them nearly 5 years now. All mods declared but they don't touch fairly normal cars. As long as you have some form of Fast Road or Track preparation they'll insure you.
Mines just over £400 a year currently with 3 drivers on the policy.
Can't fault them, always good service...
Update Time
It's been a couple of months since I last updated this, not much has changed for quite apparent reasons. However we managed to get it started for the first time. Although it needed a new battery and a lot of encouragement.
We're now fine tuning and balancing the bodies again as it...
The plans sound great for the 172 Cup, you should start a 'project thread' on here.
In terms of ITBS I've recently fitted an ATPower Kit with GEN90 ECU, mines running. albeit quite rough! Mapping is in December at EFi who I don't think are that far from you.
I know PMS do a nice kit which if...
Hi,
As the title suggests we've fitted the ITB's and associated parts, this would include a GEN90 ECU, the TPS was new from KTec has been setup by ourselves recently.
The GEN90 came with a ITB Map on it and I've been told that even the GEN90's in basic form come with a plug & play map you...
Update - Final Phase.
Made some decent progress on this the last couple of weeks, a number of jobs are completed now the car is back on the ground.
The following tasks have been completed;
Epas Conversion
New Alternator
PAS Delete
AeroCatches
Air Con Delete
Oil Catch Tank
New Dials
Gen90 ECU...
Honestly no idea! I hate using the sentimental card, but I've owned it 5 years nearly. So I've never thought about the monetary value before. I've been watching other nice examples reach silly unexpected numbers these last couple of months. As it's not a 'Factory, original' example pricing seems...
Yes, sorry I am in the processing of writing a full spec list. I've detailed a couple of key points below.
Mileage 117k
Full Service History / 2 Folders full of receipts
7 Previous owners (I think, need to check)
V5 Present
Fully Stripped & Painted Gloss White
Half Cage
Motamec Bucket Seats...
Update
We've finished the Epas conversion! Not managed to test it yet but we're confident it's all working correctly.
The dials had made are fitted, no picture yet of these installed as it's too dark inside the car currently.
But we did manage to find an alternator which meant we could...
Any idea what it's worth? Can't seem to find any other similar examples to compare. No up to date images but it's on ITBs now.
