Update Time - Side Strips & Bullets
I've decided to continue with the theme of small details making a huge difference. Today I decided to remove the side strips and bullets to clean and polish behind, the fronts we're certainly easier to remove than the rears, but overall a huge difference...
Thanks Mark, really appreciated! Not a patch on that lovely BMW...
Thanks mate! I'm sure you will, it's just a case of time & effort. The bonnet catch I got was 'Item ID 114003488869, I paid £10.75.
I hope that helps, good luck with yours too!
Update Time - All the small things.
A brief update on a couple of small jobs I've been meaning to do, I had some time yesterday afternoon so I decided to change the bonnet release as mine was rather old and rusty. Cleaned the glass inside and removed some of the residue from previous dealer...
Update Time - Coolant
Along with everyone else at the moment, we have quite a bit of spare time to work on our cars as required. So this morning I decided to make a start on changing the coolant and fitting a couple of smaller items brought from RPD last week.
First of the small task was to...
Update Time
I had some free time yesterday afternoon, so I decided to fit the new Bosch Wipers as the old ones had seen much better days and topped up the screen wash. I've also ordered a New Coolant expansion tank, New Oil Cap, New Expansion Cap, New positive terminal cover and Turini Centre...
Haha. That's brilliant. I think I'll do this later today. If I'm honest your example looks like you've spent that much. So clean!

Update Time - Back on the ground.
So after what felt like the longest week ever, I had a text from City Wheels on Friday afternoon to say my wheels are ready. Whilst 'working' I managed to get out to Birmingham and pick them up, the results are exactly what I expected from what I've heard and...
Hi,
I'm after some suggestions after removing the remaining A/C components from a 182. Complete pain in the arse to do, end up smashing half the plastics to remove the A/C parts, in the process the standard Heater motor & Fan got damaged and removed. So do I replace it with any Clio Mk2 Heater...
Update Time
Whilst the wheels are off at City in Birmingham I decided to give the car a well deserved detail and clean all the horrible mouldy bits that haven't seen a sponge in years! I used Auto Finesse Shampoo, Autoglym Magma and Autoglym SRP.
The added bonus of having the wheels off meant...
As long as your happy to step away from having one of the best examples of an original OEM 172 Cup. Then I'd say do it.

Update Time
About time I updated this as a fair amount has changed since the last update, the car itself has been at Beaniesport recently for a health check and service. Whilst it was with him we had a conversation about the belts and decided its nearly due so may as well get them done now. I...
Update
Made some progress on the 182 ITB install today. We managed to finally mount the Bodies in position. The bolts have been nothing short of a huge pain to gain access to, however the end result certainly looks good.
The PMS radiator and Revotec Fan have been fitted, easily the nicest job...
Hi,
Please forgive me if I've missed something plainly obvious. However I'm struggling to work out how and where the old connections from the Upper Manifold are meant to go if required?
I've fitted the ATPower Direct to head bodies, which as far as I can see have no plugs or connections. I...
HI,
I'm in the processing of fitting the PMS A/C Delete to a 182. I've removed all of the A/C pipework and motor, along with the alternator in preparation for installing the new mount.
However I've seen online it's best to replace the Tensioner, Pulleys and other belts at the same time...
Quick update.
Managed to spend some time on the 182 over the weekend. Started fitting the new coolant pipes, which make a huge difference already.
I'd love an Epas Setup so if anymore has one or can point me in the direction for what I need?
The PMS breather plate and Coilpack Relocation is...
Update
I've managed to pick up the eagerly awaited re-trimmed steering wheel from Snappy this morning at the post office. I've always thought this is the biggest improvement I'll do on the interior as the original was in such a bad way when I picked the car up.
To say I'm pleased with the...
Update time
If I'm honest the 182 has been somewhat neglected since the arrival of the 172 Cup. Everything is easier and a lot more straightforward to do on the Cup at the moment. Anyway I've managed to finally order the parts for the ITB's from PMS and they arrived this morning. I've got a...
