Second that with Chris. Mines going back in a couple of weeks for more work. I also did the Aqua Blasting on my cup, really happy with how it came out.

Hi
I'm sure you can gather from the title it's not good.
However can anyone advise me on the best options to repair it?
It was overtigtened when fitting the PMS bolt kit, all the others are fine just this one that snapped.
Anyone had this happen before or similar location to image attached...
Hi Guys,
Just after a bit of assurance on the location of the ignition live feed for the Epas conversion. I know the mains power will take the feed from the Battery.
The ignition live can be taken from the ignition barrel wiring?
I'd rather not use the 12v socket as its been replaced with USB...
Update Time.
Since the last update back in May a fair amount has changed and good progress made! After what felt like weeks battling with the PAS Rack and Hard lines the EPAS Conversion is nearly complete, only the power cables to run.
The car is still very much in bits as we're always...
@Mbeau
That's exactly the type of thing I'm looking for.
Just not sure whether to add RB colours on it somewhere..
Got to be a fine line between tacky and unique.

As the title suggests, I'm thinking of having some dials made up using the company on FB - Spinal Studios.
Before I order, has anyone ordered from them in the past. I'd love to see the work fitted and for inspiration.
Hi,
Managed to remove one nut yesterday as we've got the subframe in place it's quite hard to gain access.
However every time I get a tool on one of the fittings it seems to spin the pipe as well.
Not looking to keep any of it intact. Any tips or tricks that help remove these damn things...
Hi,
Mid way through fitting the Epas Conversion and we've come to a hault with the rack progress. We cannot seem to remove the heat shield around the rack which attaches to the subframe I'm led to believe.
We've undone one if the 10mm bolts already but it still won't budge.
Were not dropping...
I thought so too, but clearly the world does not want me to sell it.. the buyer changed his mind in the final moments as he couldn't justify the cost of this one and keeping his other on the road. Surely before make a 2 hour drive you'd have that worked out already. Nether less if you do decide...
Collection Day
So today the prospective new buyer will be viewing the car for the first time, we've spoken at length numerous occasions. I'll certainly be sad to see this one go it's been a real pleasure and not a choir like the 182 is currently!
I gave it a full clean and detail inside &...
Yeah I noticed it too. The earlier image is when I changed the coolant and tank over. The newer ones must still have the old coolant in, I've drained it since and refilled with new Type D.

Update Time
A couple more smaller jobs done this week, more boredom than requirement if I'm honest. Whilst I'm awaiting the return of the 182 from Beaniesport I've ordered a selection of replacement nuts & bolts for various things on both cars, I started this week by replacing the M6 Bolts on...
Update Time
In short, progress has been slow and steady. Unfortunately not having the car with me as it's locked up at Beanie's means it won't be worked on until he is back open and operational.
Prior to them closing I got a couple of pictures sent across of the progress made so far. Soon as...
Great progress mate. I've done the same smaller details on my cup. Makes all the difference when you compare the old vs new.

Update Time - Final Bits
This update is rather a small one as It's been quiet on the car front recently. I'm guessing most of you have seen the advert for it on here and on Ebay. The good news is a buyer has been found, a enthusiast who already has a Flame Red 172 in a factory condition. We're...
I second this, great work indeed. Will be better than new when you've done. I'd also like to know where you got the grill stickers from as I didn't get a response from the guy on FB either.

Fantastic mate. Thank you. I'll give that a go. Just in places the paint feels a little rough, whilst I've got the time I may as well improve it.
