I can’t even remember how much HOU cost. Probably wasn’t even the cheapest someone paid for it either, but it wasn’t much.
I remember £3k being about the max anyone sane would pay for a Clio, and that’d get you a tidy one too.
Yeahhh having a direct drive wheel on a normal desk isn’t the best. Takes a bit of getting used to, as well.
Just ordered a 330mm rim, bit closer to the wheels I’m used to IRL compared to the stock 280mm flat bottom rim on the ES.
I’m sorry I didn’t get a picture but there was an absolute f**king nonce today with a 986 boxster sprayed lime green with the 996 style GT3 RS decal down the side. Green LED foglights too. Sickening.

It does feel a bit like that, but I think when the videos come out we’ll understand a bit better the size of the mess they got themselves in.
Likewise, it was a pretty cool project. They’ve said they’re already committed to it.
@Jaff. I guess it’s because they’ve come so far building it as a...
So I’ve just listened to the interview.
They got gauges from smiths(iirc) but they didn’t make a boost gauge until BOM asked for one.
When it arrived the numbers were a slightly different font, it was LED backlit and all the gauges did different gauge sweeps when you turned the ignition on...
Good, I believe. Corsair have basically paid off Fanatec’s debts in return for ownership of the company, so it gets the banks off Fanatec’s back, and gives suppliers confidence that they’re going to be paid for delivering to them. I’d imagine things are still mega chaotic at Fanatec customer...
