I opened the instrument panel of the CLIO PH1 and removed the indicator hands. When I reinstalled the pointers, the fuel and temperature readings were wrong.
Does anyone know how to calibrate the position of these hands again?
The motor spindles have physical end stops, loosely put the needle on at maximum and push it down, you should reach the end stop of the spindle and then because the needle is only loosely on, it should then slide on it, allowing you to push the needles to just below the minimum marks on both gauges. When you’re happy with them push the needle all the way onto the motor spindle.
