Mad how nice this looks and condition for the mileage!
Where were the struts from? Need some for the Dci not the 182 though unfortunately!

It’s been a few years since I did it but I’m pretty sure I bolted it right through...
used the existing hole in the sill and then used hammerite on everything.
When I finally get a chance to work on it again I’ll renew them with captive nuts and dip them in chassis black to stop them rusting...
I ended up bolting a bit of 1/2” square bar to the jacking points, provides a good point for the jack plate and spreads the load out to stop the sills bending up [emoji1303]
Looking for the previous owner of the above car
Got a friend who has bought the car but no paperwork or V5 so was hoping the previous owner might still have it? (Was from an auction)
You wouldn't think it would make that much difference to the stiffness of the chassis...
But then again it was a tight fit! It's basically 'braced' on each corner.
Glad you're enjoying it mate and have fun at your track day in the week [emoji1303]
Alright Steve this is Jon, Beth's Fiancé.
Car's looking good, I'll have to have a look at it at some point! I like the new grilles, just a thought though it might be worth putting black mesh behind. Looks a bit more 'race car' and stops the stones on the rad [emoji1303]
Hopefully a nice easy answer
Need to do the cambelt on the 182 and thinking of dropping in a set of uprated cams (possibly 197) at the same time
However in the future I think I want to supercharge it and have heard the stock 182 cams are the best when going boosted.
Anyone able to shed some...
Bad luck Rob. But being that it's a known issue it was inevitable really!
I just rebuilt an EJ25 lump at work. Certainly a bit different to a straight 4...would certainly suggest downloading the service manual from the forum.
We got all our bits from Graham Goode Racing. Really good company to...
Just wanted to add to this... I ran AD08R's all last winter and they were absolutely fine.
I left them on because I was too lazy to change to the 'winter set up' of continental CS2's! But no issues and I just drove normally and didn't nanny about either (Y)
That honestly sucks mate
Gutted I didn't have a chance to see it in the flesh before the prang as I'm a local
I know the road you spun on. Nasty one that with a few blind corners. Almost did the same but it was a deer instead !
What's the mileage? And is it standard power? Mines just hit 100k so gona refresh the top end but the bottom end is pretty bulletproof so just gona leave it...
I'm so envious of that spec list
Very well sorted car Rob [emoji1305] and finished off nicely, I like the attitude of doing it right
Can't believe I haven't seen it yet !
To be honest when there's no problems they are one of the best most comfortable cruisers out there.
Just so easy to drive.
But you never know what's going to need paying for next. It could be a fuel filter or it could be one of the many ECU's they have ranging from controlling the engine to the...
Deep pockets.
Service often.
Check gearbox has been serviced (every 36k)
Front lower bj's always go. Check these.
Oh and deep pockets.
I worked for a Mercedes specialist...
