Rob Thanks for that info mate
It should scrub up well with just a wash mitt then as it's got the AG treatment on. Will more than likely give it a proper scrub and re-seal with a premium product in the spring :)
Will have to remember the Hoover trick then as it sounds quite successful! What do you do during a normal wash sidey ?
And how do you go about the roof during a 'normal' wash Rob ?
Yer I live in Tangway/Greenwood Drive so just down the road from the Arms as well! Small world haha
More than likely me then mate have honestly seen about 3 RBs in 2 years! Sure I've seen you about and given you a thumbs up myself
Diesel_Davis do you work at ECP in Basingstoke?
We're always ordering from the branch in Aldershot where I work but if I need bits when I'm at home (live in Chineham) I'll have to remember to give you a call :)
See thats the thing Im trying to avoid. I dont want to be removing whats on there every wash as it will hopefully getting a wash once a month. I always thought a deep clean and re apply was a 2 or 3 times a year kind of thing?

I can vouch for Andrews work. Had my upper and lower inlets matched to the gaskets and each other. Feels a lot more responsive lower down the revs to be honest. Top end I havent felt a change but thats not to say there hasnt been.
No RR results though...yet.
If I had this issue I think I'd do it this way...
1. Remove head light
2. Put in airing cupboard for a few days
3. Work out where moisture could be getting in and seal as necessary
Should be fine after all that.
I left the sensor connected but sealed the 2 holes on the sensor as it kept clicking really loudly and driving me crazy! Nice and quiet now and no lights :)
As for the pipes, I took off the manifold pipe completely and sealed the inlet end as Bobby. described. Then just zip tied the pipe from...
