koi I think if you have the modified nut/washer from Renault then you don't need the original nut and spacer
bright I didn't buy £8 spacers and used the M.A.D washer. Seems fine and they've been on for 3k miles and about 4 months+
As said in the GB thread the door cards look really good mate. Like the orange touches outside as well
Please bin off that bonnet lining tho! Looks untidy :(
Jellis_182 It's running a bit more than that now. But a common mistake is to think they're 182bhp from factory. They're actually 182ps which is about 179bhp
And these engines vary massively in power output so 175 is quite respectable :) and the torque I was happy with as most are around...
Not yet Andrew :(
Just got a few bits together for a service in a few weeks
I'm a bit sidetracked by a 205 at the moment, thinking if turning it into a track car...
Kelv good idea mate , best to play it by ear with things like that
And I can definitely sympathise with the Tramadol! I put my back out just before Christmas and normally take Paracetamol and Ibruprofen. Took 2 Tramadol and it made me feel like s**t for the best part of 8 hours!
Never again!
Good to see this being resurrected Kev :)
You gona try n come to Bedford as a passenger at all? Would be good to see you again mate
Just out of curiosity is it Tramadol you're on? That stuff is nasty...
Have you put the Clio on a Hunter system yet Martin to get a base read out?
As quite often the rears might have different camber from knocks over the years so you may need half a degree one side but more the other to get it to match up
If you get what I mean...
Quick tip on the bleed nipples. Get some stainless ones off eBay rather than mild steel Renault ones
They'll just do the same thing in months whereas the stainless ones won't corrode

Came with caps as well!
Unlucky mate, rabbits are harder than you think!
Did the same to a hare, except I was going a little bit quicker...needless to say the A/C rad, bumper AND carbon splitter were a write off!
Have finally managed to get a half decent Ph1 head with rocker cover :)
So that will be getting sent to Andrew ALD for porting/polishing with the Jenvey manifold it will be matched to when I get that next year some time
Happy that's another big bit ticked off the list for the engine build...
Have you checked oil temps with a gauge Adam G ?
Don't mean that to sound sarcastic as I was looking into an oil cooler for track work as well, but was going to fit a temp gauge to see if it was necessary first
There's 3
1 in each corner, driver's side is easy to see once the scuttle is out, passenger is a bit more hidden by the washer bottle.
There is also one right in the middle, this drains out of a hole in the sound deadening on the bulk head.
Might I suggest removing the arch liners at the back...
