I've got a few bottles left, the plan was to make them up into kits and sell them, just haven't got round to it yet. I can make you up 1 or two if you wanted?
Yeah car is running great thanks.. We plan to fit a custom roll centre kit in the next 3-4 weeks and at the same time we are going to fit the quaife LSD. Not much more planned after that. It will be the spec we want to race next year
I believe I did get them, I have a lot of un read emails in...
Hi Jamie, small world indeed, JJ did say he’d been talking about it too.. hope he was saying all good things [emoji6] especially after I let him have some laps at Donington.. cheers bud, looking forward to getting it out.. were you racing in the C1s then?
Yeah it’s on the list, my mate always goes there in his saxo and loves it!.. not planning this year though as trying to get familiar with the tracks we’ll be likely to race at next year.

Yeah I love it!. seating position is what makes the car I think, doesn't feel like a clio when your sat inside. Everything is where I need it, lets me just concentrate on the driving.
Hi mate, we're on 205/50 R15's . so pretty standard
Thanks, glad to help!, be good to see yours on track too...
Thanks for reading through the whole thing!. Good to get feedback on what we're doing.. Like I said before, its all about inspiring each other. I took a lot of inspo from GT / BTCC cars during our build
Donington Park complete!.. Both @Jenbo and I had a great day last Friday getting to grips with the circuit and making some setup changes throughout the day.. The car felt mega! (little bit of understeer to dial out).. We both built up our confidences on the brakes too.
Donington is such a...
Haha the eternal debate! Probably the most asked question on here
My reasoning:
Base unit cost, cheaper to run, minimal servicing, not running silly power so don’t need any aggressive locking, smoother operation, great customer service
Looks good mate!.. that’s what the build thread is all about, giving people ideas!
We’re looking at fitting a quaife LSD, custom roll centre correction kit, potentially softer front springs.. get it weighed properly, and dyno’d to see what class we will be running in next year etc
I decided to tidy up the doors as not having door cards on was bugging me.. plus we need them to race so that there are no sharp edges close to the driver etc.
I started out by getting some paper hung on the door to cut out the profile i wanted. I then used this template to cut out the cards. I...
I didn't really take in any cars on my way there.. I was far more concerned about not hitting any kerbs with the trailer.. this one was about 1m wider than ones i've used before. stressed me out haha..
Yeah not far at all!.. have to pop round check out your car at some point, does look ace!
Been a bit rubbish at updating this thread recently..
I have been beavering away finishing off a few things in the car over the last few weeks, all in prep for our first outing of the year at Rockingham last week.
I sorted out mounting the ECU on the bulkhead, mocked up and made my own door...
I used a proper old school tool that my dad had in the garage.. probably cost a fortune these days!..
I then cut the plastic off after I had formed the end, as you have, using a Sharp blade and a needle file

From what I remember the standard Renault bolts have a larger shank diameter, than a ISO bolt of the same thread, which is used to locate the caliper back plate correctly
Yeah I know what you mean, they even have the ranking system now to try to prevent that, but still no body cares.. they can’t win without hitting someone
You want to get on iRacing or rFactor2 so much better..
I just raced in a 12hr race around road Atlanta at the weekend!, only two of us...
I got so busy with work, I never got round to putting some laps in!.. I’ve been practicing on rFactor2 these days as that’s what our sim racing is run on

Hi all.. Been pretty busy over The winter months trying to sort out a few things in the garage and on the car ready for this year.
I’ll be posting some more updates of what I’ve been up to when I get chance
@Jenbo and I have also entered the 2nd season of the Simply Race Endurance Series (SRES)...
Hi.. yeah they don’t have everything on their website.. the catalogue is your best bet.
The below pics shows the Brake hardline and standard hardline depending on the fittings you use.. I used the 5-3mm line (649.909) .. at the time it was £3.30 a meter
Hope that helps
Alright mate. Not as of yet no, works been manic so not had time for anything Clio related tbh.. I would like to do something though if there was the interest for it.. probably scare you all away with the price though haha
Hey buddy!.. thanks!.. yeah it’s a great feeling, just itching to get out again in it now!, going to book a few trackdays this year. You got many planned?
Hey, no I didn’t have any issues. They had 2 threads sticking out the end of the nut when I tightened them up. (I do have mine going...
