Track car rear pads: standard or DS2500?

Yep.. I’m in the band that say they do. I’ve gone from CL5 rear pad to standard and noticed the Clio not scrubbing of speed as fast as when I had the CL5’s

Power from a 182 NA engine

You should just about get there with exhaust and free flowing cat/de-cat.. maybe even more! As a comparison.. I’m running 202.5bhp +177ftLb with itb’s and high comp bottom end (standard head) Same results for 4 years now..so belts this year and throw some high lift cams in at the same time Good...

Phase 1 horn stalk into phase 2

No... all wiring is in place...wiring loom is universal between models. I swapped my poverty spec trophy wiper stalk for the adjustable intermittent version

Phase 1 horn stalk into phase 2

Poverty spec clios don’t have the horn on the stalk. So after market steering wheels with no horn button you need to swap to the stalk with the horn.

Power from a 182 NA engine

Pure motorsport’s itb, forged bottom, cnc head and cams = reliable 240bhp And that’s £7500. Or £4500 if you do it yourself!

    James' 172 Cup Project

The stub axel’s bolt to the main beam, they are a bolt on part. It’s a bit more involved than changing rear discs but it’s only 8 bolts to take off then torque them back up. There might be a how to do it in the guide section  Cup looks great btw :up:

    James' 172 Cup Project

Like @Louis' said probably a bent stub axel. Must admit I find the rear brakes make a significant difference in braking on the Clio. I’ve gone from standard rear pads to CL 5’s and the car slows much faster on track. Could up grade to 182 stub’s for extra rear track. Good luck with your...

    Ph1 suspension refresh suggestion

Yep lower arms will be fine.. should give you more caster. I’m not entirely sure but as the 182 subframe is wider you’ll need 182 track rods...again with driveshafts...probably need to be 182

    Fletch's 150k 172 Project..

Nice!... The Clios going to handle now...should go really well with the diff. I'm in the same boat with cam belt change..I've got my cams already but some people are getting good results from the groupe n 197 cam..they are cheap too. In my mind I'd always think I could've had more from a catcam...

    Ph1 suspension refresh suggestion

The dog bone mount is different between ph1 and ph2 so you'll need one of those too if you go for the swap. As @imprezaworks said..only 54mm bolt spacing shocks will fit your hubs..172 cup.
