In regards to taking the seals off the calipers...In my experience it’s only a short fix..road grim etc gets in and they start to bind again.
Rebuild or new I’m afraid.
Yeah ..I’m running the full ktec kit...bodies/high comp bottom end/gen 90, even running a map from them too..engine is just over 4 years old always tested at Surrey rolling road and always between 201and 203 bhp year on year. Just fancy a bit more mid range.
I’ve seen the figures the guy got...
Oh ok.. I don’t really know but my thinking is the standard mk2 injectors are almost at there maximum output so they don’t last/spray well...where as the 225 injectors are no where near there limit.
I had a roll cage company near me make and weld this in. Took about half an hour...can’t remember what it cost but it wasn’t over a £100.
I know that sounds a little expensive for a bit of tube but I don’t have a welder!
Hi
I haven’t actually looked yet but any heads up on what it could be.
When I first start and drive everything is fine no noise...perfect Clio.
Once I’ve driven and car has warmed up I’m getting a rotation noise/clunk from the front near side ? It is constant..one wheel rotation..clunk..gets...
Seeing as I got inspiration from when this thead first came round I thought it would be rude not to post.
Still have head lining/power windows and stereo with speakers in the front seat belt recess
These negative thoughts will disappear as soon as your blasting your way home from Micks.
There may well be some little niggle that pops up soon after rebuild but at least Le clio b*****d rouge will be 99.9% complete.
This was awesome last year! My first time at Donnington... what a track!
I found the morning sessions had decent drivers in but the afternoon sessions were a bit hit and miss
If funds allow I’ll be booking again
Have you checked the battery voltage ? See what it is when engine isn’t running to see how healthy it is and again when the engine is running.
Should see near on 12v and 14v when engine running.
The higher voltage is the alternator so if there’s no increase that’s gone.
The helper spring will extend when no weight is on the shock keeping the spring in place from rattling around.
Well I think that’s how it supposed to work.
I’m sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be able tell you.
I’ve never really liked any bmw but they have upped their game over the last few years.
With the likes of the wide arch m135, your awesome m2 and I saw the m760 at car fest.. Thats 0 to 60 in 2.1 in a barge!
So much want for yours tho...it’s such a beast!
Pretty much what you’ve said. Steering arms driveshafts are closer to OE spec. northloopcup’s version also increases track width.
There are a few different opinions these days for the correction kit.
Since fitting a quaife diff my HPAS fluid hasn’t boiled over. Not 100% sure if it was all down to the diff as I’d also had fresh HPAS fluid flushed though.
Just for info.. I’m running 201.5bhp 177ftlb lowered and stripped interior 1060kg weight 85kg of that is me!
Or
I’m not driving hard enough!
