Cheers Dave, really kind of you to offer. I'll get thinking about colour schemes ;)
Cheers mate
Has your PMS kit sold? And where did you source your gaitor from?
When I get my PMS shifter later this week I want to make it look as good as possible before fitting.
That means a coloured shaft and a gator, something like this;
Apart from Rob & Dave, has anyone else done anything similar and have any advice on how to make this happen?
@RMDavis @loggyboy
Look out - there's a trend of locals actively trying to reduce Trophy numbers ;)
@Luke - I cannot believe it's 5 years. At least the heart went to a good home in Oli's rep.
Whereabouts are you?
If you sign up to the ClioTrophy.co.uk forum you'll be able to get in touch with an extremely friendly and helpful chap called Rik who will be able to refurb your Sachs for you.
Welcome back Will
I was half expecting to see your, "I love a Trophy and will own one one day" comment I've seen from you before (at least I think it's you?), but no. Speaks volumes. Don't get me wrong Im sure it's a great car but for me it's not special enough. Having said that I've never...
Absolutely Mark.
April and/or June will be a free-for-all, no restrictions or limitations, anyone and anything welcome. I'll add you to the list of potential invitees ;)

I've put the standard Trophy Turinis back on and they're now wearing Continental WinterContact TS850s - great cold weather tyres. The gold Cup-offset Turinis are looking for a new home, if anyone's interested, let me know.
The car is running so sweetly at the moment...
Not a good update, Rob, but as has been said the main thing is you're ok. It's such a shame, it was a special little Trophy, that one, but at least the insurance process is proving painless and you can get back in the saddle soon, y0!
I used to have a CDA-117ri HU with the APF-D102RE lead, which allowed the dash display to work in conjunction with the stalk controls, and even controlled my iPhone too.
Sadly the CDA-117ri developed a fault whereby no sound was being output through the iPhone channel (CD / Aux / Tuner all...
I don't think you can ask what tyres people can recommend without stating your requirements?
Price? Dry grip? Wet grip? Cold condition grip? Feedback? Longevity? Road noise? Tread pattern? Brand? Road use / track use? Size?
Tyres are a compromise - for anyone to be able to make a...
This x10000000.
How many people work in the call centres for one of these companies? Hundreds? Thousands? How long do they stay before the leave, fed up with customers shouting at them? I can't imagine it's a career job, so staff turnover will be high. How long does it take to train...
If it's a choice between selling now and selling in 6 months I'd get rid of it now.
You won't have to worry about storing it, you won't have to insure it, nor will you have the potential hassle and cost of bringing it back to life after storage. Sure, it might fire first time or it might need...
£17 for 8GB
£20 for 20GB
£25 for 25GB
All are probably too much data for you, but include unlimited minutes roaming and domestic, and some inclusive roaming data.
And whether you have his phone number or not you'll more than likely have to go to court to recover any money. I know it's a lot to you but is £130 worth it?
I don't know the legalities around bankruptcy but I would imagine that would make a significant difference on the outcome.
As you said...
Two things - if you're a student then don't shop in Halfords because you'll be able to buy the same products cheaper elsewhere online.
Secondly, Halfords only stock their range of products. While some might be good you'd do better not to restrict yourself as there may well be better products at...
I did a similar thing albeit 12+ years ago, and went for a year.
My advice - sort the big flights in and out and everything else can be done there, either on sleeper trains, overnight buses or small domestic/international flights.
Also, don't make too many plans, just have some rough ideas and...
Don't 197 cams give more power at the top end but in doing so they sacrifice torque? Dan at SJM would be a good person to ask - he has personal experience of the RS2 with 197 cams and he can map so could be another option or at least someone to chat with about options, pros and cons.
@McDrfitin - any reason why you couldn't use a Mobius dashcam, for example? Plugged into a power source in the home, 32GB memory card, could even set it to be triggered to record based on motion-detection I think.
