You got a great car there! I don't think I could have picked anyone better for the job. Its a pity he can't really work on the project anymore (other than the driveshaft issue) its going to be a case of bolting on parts and mostly basic welding / fab work.
The dilema is this puts the shaft bearing about 100mm away from the inboard plunge joint. I don't know whether this is a bad thing or not.
I'm waiting for more clever people to tell me whats what before doing a test on manifold clearance as it'll be tight.
At the moment progress is frustrating. The puzzle to solve is where to put an intermediate driveshaft bearing.
Theres a couple of options - this being the easiest to make as it will not involve welding onto the cast alloy engine front casing.
I have to say I really like this. Loving the rear suspension setup. The details are ultimately what makes this impossible to replicate.
What rear hubs did you go for in the end? I went for Lotus ones for my car before getting some custom ones made.
You can run cooler pads with the Brembos. Try PBS then evaluate the wear rate and bite

On a budget... forget about power. Get the car serviced (and do the cambelt if needed) - run a good quality oil
then focus on the rest.
Coilovers - BC Racing Ds Series...
Brembo Max have been discontinued for over two years now. The Xtra discs replaced them but they are serious money. George has a couple I think of the Max discs but I guess that shows the popularity when plain discs are so cheap and expendable.
We do the Mtec discs. The C hook are the best in the...
I think we sold about 60 of them but not enough interest to keep running production and storing the parts. I think we will just focus on the BC racing ones as they do the job at a great price (I think £140 retail) and I dont have to faff with high volume production runs.
Even with the BC top...
They are in stock. I ship them out next working day.
If anyone who has had a set would be able to spare a minute to write a review..it all helps us sell more and support the smaller and unquestioningly more innovative businesses :D...
In a word yes. You use a stiff ARB to increase rear roll stiffness. For a road car you want to have good traction and not too snappy handling in the wet so a softer rear spring and damper (thats why the B14 is not so great for track use) and thicker arb works well. For real slippery conditions...
Without being able to check the part number I would not guarantee what you would receive. There are two kits for the car dependant on rear.
We have the correct part listed (cheaper too)...
Its been a while but I believe the 5100 use a larger diameter shaft which is stronger. Its better for when you use sticky tyres and like bumping apex kerbs
I can match their shipping.
This deal costs dealers profit already (we dont get free rear pads) but I can match it. Hard to do lots of tiers of discount as we have the reward scheme running also.
..you buy the fronts!
We are able to offer this great deal on PBS brake pads until Midnight the 31st October GMT. When you order your Clio front pads from us, we will give you a free set of rear pads!
Both the Clio 2 and Clio 3 have a pad available for the rear. Just place an order from now...
Time Attack 2019 tracks and dates have not been announced yet so I dont know just yet. Once they have I can go through the previous lap records and see whats feasible. Either way theres been some great Peugeot 205's built for the series by Spoox and I'm hoping my designs for my car will be a...
