Ive been building this map in far cry 5, started off using pictures from a real place but made bits up as I progressed. Tedious to say the least but once youve got a good base its easier to add too.
Based off this...
Ready to go back on the car. Its much smoother now, no notchiness or anything. Still quite a bit of resistance to turn, I dont really understand it, compared to the new oem rack I have which can be turned by hand with a bit of force, this takes quite a bit more.
Thanks, I pulled the cap off like you said, just took mole grips and force! This is a spare joint anyway for practice lol, now to order a new uj for the main column.
Isnt the cap suppose to come off? It wont press any further unless I need to press the other cross first? Also my bench isnt that dirty the flash is like the sun.
Also brand new ATE pug 406 master cylinder on order! 23.8mm bore and 4 ports. Will put bleed nipples in 2 of them though instead of sacking off the t piece I already have, that way getting a bench bleed is guaranteed, even though Im sure pumping through using 1 man method is fine..
After some research I bought some EP 0 grease to assemble the rack with. With all new bearings and cleaned up this rack should feel great, I wont be getting any machining done on this one, I might use the M9 bolts though, I found an ARP m9 nut suitable but not sure if the bolt is long enough...
An update on the rack. I decided to take the manual rack off the car to have a look as I wasnt happy with how it felt, I remember trying to adjust the pre load but it did not do much for the resistance of the rack, I could wind it out all the way and it was still kinda hard to turn. Upon...
I started watching this guy building a custom bush plane, Im not sure if hes based in alaska but a new video just popped up and Caitlyn (bruce) Jenner is in the video! :ROFLMAO:
I thought that if you were braking and the car was in a slide, it would help to activate the abs on certain wheels for stability. Either way its not needed!
No problem. I really dont know how to get that piston out, Ive given it some proper wacks as well. Ive just found a new 4 port 23.8 ATE peugeot 406 mc which I think is going to be the best thing to use.
@ripp This is a 172 cup mc. Im having trouble taking the 197 one apart. The 182 is the same design as the 197, both ATE and the circlip needs drilling/grinding to open them up. Once you have it open the rear piston seems to be stuck.
172 cup mc all apart, the rebuild kit from big redd seems all good. Although as you can see the casing has seen better days where it meets the servo.
Im going to rebuild this one up regardless but not sure what Im doing yet. I put a 197 mc back on the car, primed the master cylinder and...
Ive watched this clip so many times, In fact I ripped the video just in case It got deleted or youtube were dicks.
I have a folder of a few videos that are too good to lose!
Decided to boot the game up to see if anythings changed with all the updates. I thought something was wrong at first at how blurry everything was, turns out its TAA anti aliasing working when you move. Turned that off, set msaa x2 and FXAA to on, doesnt look bad and stutters seem to be gone...
