Sad day today… said goodbye to me old mate 🫣
But it sounds like it’ll be in safe hands in Canada with @E11OOT
moving on with a Megane RS 265 I bought from my mate Tim, I’ve maintained it for him over the years and know how meticulous he is about it,
It is an absolute gem
Brief spec.. 61k...
Yeah, mine is all the gates barricade PTFE lined hose, but would get a definite pulse sound before the damper.. I work in a Renault dealership and noticed a lot of new OEM stuff have dampers on these days!
*for sale* 12k…
Not your average Clio turbo. I have owned this car for a very long time and will be sad to see it go but I fancy a new project.
If it sells it sells, if not I’ll keep it but have been thinking about it for a while.
I’ve seen some utterly horrendous builds lately and they are...
I know what you mean! There must be some serious documentation somewhere, would love a instruction manual myself, a massive amount of time and effort must have gone into getting the Gen90 developed and onto the market.. it can’t have just landed at Ktec with a note that said good f**king luck! 😂😂
Hello guys, has anyone managed to get a canbus gauge working on a Gen90 mainly for AFR, boost, coolant temp, IAT.. basic stuff? I know the CAN H and CAN L connections but not really dabbled with dash’s, gauges etc other than standalone ones
Will see how this pans out soon, should look spot on with a 197 rear diffuser.. I’m not generally into mods but this should be subtle and with the slash cut tips hidden away should look good!
Update, been a while!! I like to post changes on here just as much for anyone interested and for myself really, like service history this thread!
Last weekend I had a map check by Andy, as I was getting some 22psi boost spikes, should be 16-17ish.. anyway was worth the trip and my concerns were...
Not at all mate.. mine has a LSD, not really noticed the weight to be honest, will need to corner weight my car again though!
It’s an improvement over the 5 speed for me, seemed to always on the limiter and needed another gear. Still early days though, track time will show!

I’ve seen a few ‘efforts’ too! I always try to make things as though they roll out of the factory like it, correct mounting, no rattles, everything has to work right. So far it’s really good… nice to be able to cruise along at around 2k rpm 👌👌
Tbf it was one of those moments and now it’s a whole new animal.. need to update this!
Been driving it for 2weeks now with the new 6speed and spec

Boost pipe problem solved, bends all cut ready for tig welding! Bit extreme but needs to fit nicely, can’t be doing with rubbing and lashed up pipe work!
Well it runs.. engine is in.
mock up shafts made ad will be sent off next week. Other than that I have a boost pipe to make because of the 197 alternator/AC bracket. Which although has caused a few issues it’s a much simpler setup than the 182 accessories!
want to see a vid?
Box is built, new diff bearings, quaife installed, seals etc.. engine is back in on two mounts… dig one to be fabricated. All good so far.
also managed to find some mock up shafts for mock up to be sent away to pure.
gear selection is mange tout!
Thanks mate, it’s a bit overkill to be fair but it’s got plenty of room now, and I used some thick steal whilst keeping a fair bit of the original material

Lots been happening, bit of head scratching! So far (between work) I’ve notched the chassis leg, built the 197 block up with my Meg 265 pistons and rods. New rings, new ACL bearings, new ARP rod bolts. 182 head modified to accept the 197 belt, had to plug the old tensioner stud and move it up...
