So today, I fed the speed signal into the EPAS computer to zero the speed when stationary, as previously it sat at 14kmh at full assist.
Feels lighter when turning the steering stationary already, next up is to fully integrate it into the vehicle systems.. need a speed signal next

it’s like I just read my own post, having the exact same issue. I run a roll centre kit and a quick rack so eliminates the HPAS pinion in the rack for much more positive steering.
like you it’s great driving normally, but at slow speeds rushing the steering I get tight spots and when parallel...
Can anyone tell me the voltage they are getting from the EPAS computer on the 2 big wires at full assistance? I’m getting a max of 5v coming out of mine.. doesn’t seem right to me.

Unless half or more it’s doesn’t really work, I have to run it on full all the time that’s why I asked BTT if they’ve had any issues with their controllers.
I feels fine most of the time but parallel parking is a t**t!
Absolutely spot on in my workshop on resin floor and on any loose ground...
Hi guys, from the day I’ve fitted my EPAS it’s not been great, fine when driving nice and light feels fine.. but as soon as I chuck my car into a tight junction or manoeuvre stationary I get zero assistance.. have seen a few cases with EPAS on here the same and some with the same setup, quick...
Not even sure to be honest, nothing out of the box would be a patch on the Clio..
List so far.
M140i but sorted for track rather than the pricks you see all over Facebook with w**k suspension and stage 100000 tunes !!
Golf R
Meg 4 is on the list (too many doors)
I really don’t know… it’s...
Currently thinking about selling my Clio.. I keep thinking about a new project and unfortunately can’t find anyway to fund it without selling this on.
Would seriously consider it if the right offer came around, I’ve owned it for 13+ years so would be like selling my arm!
Little spec list...
Mainly there for alignment, the chances of the tags stopping a bearing from spinning is questionable, if the bearing picks up I don’t think tags will stop it and let’s be honest if a bearing is picking up you have already fucked your engine! Maybe it would keep it alive for a couple revolutions...
I have very close friends with an engineering business so to notch the rods was a better decision for me than potentially messing up perfectly good shells with a file taking the tags off! Also more professional imo

It’s more the horrible scenes at places like Nur when the pump has let go and the belt wrapped around everything with fluid everywhere.. I actually never really had much heat issues like that but yeah may help them.
It is nice to be able to change my oil filter without nearly crying now though...
Little tinker update..
After seeing lots of PAS steering pumps popping at the track I decided to remove HPAS in favour of EPAS.
It was a very difficult decision to b fair, but whilst I had the car apart to do the clutch AGAIN (will talk about this after) I decided to ‘simplify’ my bay.
I used...
Whatever the speed is in 5th @7200rpm is a regular occurrence in Germany in mine.
Feels strange when it happens! (Hitting the limiter in 5th)

Nice one mate.. Check the rods are 100% straight also make sure the ring groves in the pistons have no tight spots from being potentially knocked around during removal, storage etc.

Nothing kicks in with the Yaw sensor disconnected. Even with the dash configuration when the yaw sensor is connected it still did have a hint of kicking in.. obviously with the quick rack it exaggerates everything. But as said with yaw disconnected and the configuration set without trajectory...

Incase anyone is interested I managed to do
It, bit of a headscratcher but if someone wants to completely remove the esp lights and not have to push a switch anymore there is a way.
or if they have fitted a quick steering rack to their road car 👍👍👍
I’m not worried about loosing the CC that has never worked. Due to running gen90
I thought about that too, I was wondering if the connection is the same and also don’t want to mess my mileage up..

Hi guys, since fitting a quick rack into my Clio 182 I’m experiencing ESP issues as the YAW is sensing more steering input than the steering angle sensor is reading.
So if I see say 5 degrees steering on Clip in reality it’s much more hence yaw setting off the ESP.
So options are to trick the...
