    When to shift, shift light?

A would be the best as it is directly in front, don't worry about them being bright because when you are concentrating on the track they don't seem to bad, and you want to see them without looking down.

My BG 182 Track Car Build

I have done a few more bits over the last few months (more practical things) As I did not know what the oil was doing I thought it would be a good idea to get a gauge so got a SPA oil temp and oil pressure gauge. While I was going to fit that I got a 13 row oil cooler, now me being me I did...

    Aluminium Radiators

What is the rough cost for all the bits that need doing? I can't weld ally as we only have a DC TIG welder. What's the differences between the AC and non AC Clio rads is it just the mounting bracket for the condenser?

    Aluminium Radiators

You got any photos of what you did to yours with it off the car? Is the Golf one a bigger core, or it it just a case of it being shorter

    Aluminium Radiators

@Arran_ do you have any photos of it fitted, and did you use the standard fan? @Grats the golf one needs modding doesn't it? Some 10mm pegs need welding on the bottom and a pipe needs to be re welded on at a angle and something plugged up is that correct

    Aluminium Radiators

I will be removing my AC in a few months so while I am at it I thought of getting an ally rad. The eBay ones are quite appealing for the price, has anyone got one? This one...

    Upgraded gear stick ?

The rattle does get annoying when on the motorway but it is worth it on a track car. I spoke to Nick at FCS and he said he has moved the rattle to higher in the rev range by fitting a damper on the linkage, they should be available to buy soon for about £20 iirc

Breaking cover......*AG content from page 45*

Bells would be the best but it would start to get expensive then. Is there much of a difference in performance between the 280 and 300 discs? If not just get some of the brackets for 280 discs. What will you be doing with the MC?

    When to shift, shift light?

Its not needed Once the first light is on you instantly know (providing it is placed in the correct position) and as the first two are different colours to the second two you know you are getting close to the limit then a really bright red LED then if you miss all that it flashes

    When to shift, shift light?

Just replied to your PM Mines the DRE one @NorthloopCup suggested it to me and it's great, I had a faulty unit first, it was not picking a signal up but it was sorted out quickly. I was going to get the Omex one first but it seems a bit more fiddly to fit as the control box is separate from the...

    Which harness

They are about 150mm back from the slots in the seat, the inside one is going through the exhaust tunnel and the outside one is as far out as it can go. Not the best picture but hope it helps

    Which harness

Not technically correct, if the car is striped out cage buckets etc they can be FIA or E marked and pass a MOT. I have 6 point Sabelt harnesses wrapped around the harness bar and I have drilled and fitted eye bolts and spreader plates in the floor for the crotch and lap straps. If the car is a...
