Does the central locking work?

Put the key in, turn it to position 1, hold the button down then turn back to 0 and then round to start the car all while holding the button down.

So could i use these adaptors below and fit the mids first then fit the tweeters at a later date? My mids at the front are well gone.

Got these for Christmas and was wondering if they can be fitted with with the oem wiring? I've got some plug adaptors for the main speaker connectors. Can I just change the tweeters to the new ones on the original loom? It came with some high pass filters.

I had this with another car and it was the cat collapsed. Once it was sorted the car went like hell. It was a Toyota vvti 1.8

Does it change the handling?

I think if you can get a car knowing all of the major bits are done for under or around £2k then it's worth it if you are going to hang on to it for a bit. Not worth the hassle if you do it all then sell on.

Hi, just thought I'd post up a picture of my 182 with it's new wheels on. I know it's very common but it just looks right. A few more little jobs to do then I'll be happy. I'm going to give it a good clean and polish, fix the front fog lights and car park dings. Then find a good drivers seat.

I've just changed from cup springs to sportlines and it feels the same. It just looks loads better.

I paid £550 for the belt kit, water pump and depasher last year on my old 172

Does this look right? The bottom of the top part sits on that nut.

Looking for a bit of help. I'm changing a top mount bearing on the 182 and I'm trying to refit the strut assembly but it seems too long to get it back on the hub. It's like it has stretched longer. I've tried to see if I can compress the spring with a pair of compressors but they don't fit up...

Will do on the odd occasion but was thinking about taking either off the road as my daily and buying an old hack.

I forgot to say it's a ff 182

My 182 is a good one but the 172 has everything I want to do. It has coilovers, turinis, low mileage, fresh belts dephaser and pump. It does need some tidying up though.
