Yes trouble starting. We have broken down a few times and have had to use easy start to get it going again. The engine management light is on all the time and we have a df137 fault code (excessive fuel rail pressure) when plugged into an obd reader. Which would make sense if one of the injectors...
Cheers for the advice. I'm going to run the test on the fuel return lines and see how many injectors are not satisfactory. It might only be one that's bad. Buy first going to drop some fuel from the filter drain and check for metal particles.
Looking to take them apart and clean the needles and tips up. I know what to expect with regards to the insides as I've seen some vids on the delphi injectors. I'm more curious to know if others have gave it a go and if there's a lot more involved plus why it's a specialist job.
panel craft in Braintree get my vote as well, the replaced a full floor in my old mini project and it looked like it rolled out the factory. they did an amazing job.
we have a dci 65 which the injectors are playing up. I was thinking about taking them apart and seeing if I can clean them up. is it really something that needs specialist care? has anyone else had a go?
hey there, we have a dci 65 and it repeatedly breaks down. we know the injectors need changing which im going to do soon but I am thinking about buying a half decent diagnostic tool. I know the new injectors need coding so will be looking to do this with the new reader. we are getting a fault...
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to get a quieter Exhaust for my 182. I currently have a Milltek cat back resonated and looking at the scorpion RS192 as an option.
I am wondering if any of you guys have had experience with both and if the scorpion be a quieter option for me?
Nice looking car mate. Those headlights look so much better now. I love the look of the silver with the Turini wheels. It just needs a bit of tidying up and will look amazing.
Long time in coming (7 months) but I've got another one. It's a 182 with 105k. Its never had a hard life. Only had 2 owners from new. I was looking for a 172 cup and did have one to buy but got messed about so walked away from the sale.
I'm really impressed with it. Although I'm already...
We have a dci 65 and it has broke down 3 times in 2 years. It would cut out with a high rail pressure fault. Easy start gets it going again and is fine. It hasn't done it since September so hopefully it will be ok. It's really good on fuel, I was doing around £40-50 a week in my old 172 and £20...
Hi, I recharged my air con today but it won't blow cold. I followed the instructions and the compressor kicks in as when I press the air con button the pressure test gauge with the kick drops a tad then fluctuates up and down a bit but nothing happens to the temp. The pipes don't get cold or...
Hi, I noticed on my 172 ph2 I have brake fluid coming from my rear caliper where the handbrake cable lever enters the caliper. Is this a new caliper job or is there a service kit I can get? This is probably why my handbrake and stop light are on?
